frosbel: Just watched this video and it was so so wrong, I had to engage in a debate with some deceived brethren and explain to them the truth about HELL.

Over the holidays , I have spoken to people who were literally frightened by the mere thought that people go to hell when they die talk less of a future eternal hell fire.

This is just plain wrong, Jesus came with the gospel of hope, not the gospel of eternal torture.

In 2013 , I will fight against this LIE wherever I see it rear it's ugly head.

gst101: agbaje, i think the hebrew words translated into hell, lake of fire, land of the dead, underworld etc should be taken into consideration for a better understanding of what will happen to the unjust. Those greek and hebrew words are: gehena, shoal, hades, tatrus. I am not sure their spellings.

The King James Bible erroneously applies the universal term “Hell” where it shouldn’t. The 1995 NASB, one of the more accurate modern day English translations written from Nestle and Aland’s compilation of Greek manuscripts (the oldest and most reliable), properly distinguishes between Sheol, Hades, Gehenna, and Tartarus—very different abodes, none of which are a literal lake of fire.

Nowhere in the Old Testament does Yahweh even hint at a literal “Fiery Hell,” as the abode of the unbelieving deceased, NO WHERE! Don’t you think God would have warned Abraham, Moses and all the patriarchs of the Old Testament of such a horrifying destiny if they were to break any part of the law? Something along the lines of “If you don’t obey my commandments, I’m going to bake and barbecue you in a brick oven for all of eternity—that’s right, trillions and trillions of years, and then more trillions and trillions of years if you don’t adhere to all of my laws throughout your entire lives!” Why didn’t God warn them of such a horrible place? Because there is no such place mentioned in the Bible, Old or New Testament!

It’s only in the sick, demented and twisted mind of man where such a place was created, i.e., money-grubbing, fear-mongering, power-hungry Christian expositors and television celebrities that cast themselves as “Godly Men” in the know. There is absolutely no biblical support for a literal “Lake of Fire” where God will burn the majority of mankind for all of eternity.

How many mothers are sitting in the pews of the mammoth 501c3 corporations that call themselves “church” every Sunday morning listening to a completely distorted, demented, and fabricated lie about a Christian God that hates his created children so much, he burns and tortures them for trillions and trillions of millennia .

How many widows who are grieving the loss of a spouse or child must bear the burden of believing their loved one is burning in a furnace of fire because they just didn’t get around to “accepting Christ” before they unexpectedly died? Too many!

How in the hell could mothers, or any other professing believers who have lost loved ones that may not have been “Christianized” prior to their death ever live in peace for the rest of their lives, falsely believing that their loved ones are being cooked by a vengeful and jealous God? They can’t!

Some of the very celebrity blow-hards that berate others for disseminating false and dangerous doctrine are guilty of it themselves. Discerning fable from fiction can be difficult, especially when some of these blow-hard fire and brimstone preachers can be so dead right on other doctrinal issues. But I’ll be damned if I’m going to idly sit by and let these power-hungry, fear mongers continue to perpetrate what can only be described as the most vile lie ever bestowed upon innocent and naive believers—a God that burns people in a “Hell-Fire” for all of eternity.

Don’t buy the lie of an evil God anymore—not if you’re a true believer. I’m calling these heretics out, and that’s a complimentary term. Anybody that preaches unbelieving deceased loved ones will be cooked in a never-ending flaming fire to an innocent, naive, and under educated ecclesia should be held in contempt of Christ. To perpetrate such an evil, fallacious, and demented doctrine is on par with the evil acts of terrorists. Only unlike terrorists, these evil men mentally torture innocent believers through fear and intimidation for their entire lifetimes.

100% concur. Hell, the place is very real; the Bible is very clear on that.

Why would a loving God send people (i.e those of disobedience) to a place of unspeakable, horrendous EVERLASTING torture? Bible makes it very clear it was it never God's intention for His children to go there. It was meant for satan and his demons.


I think also the way its being preached doesn't help matters. You see some preacher focusing so much on hell rather than God. I believe it presnets a very distorted picture of God.

Just because something exists in church tradition does not make it true , it is tool of fear mongering to hold on to church members , started by the catholic church and perfected by her denominational daughters.
