Power Drunk Governor Or Irresponsible Mother? by mantutuman(m): 11:38pm On Feb 21, 2008
IMO GOVERNOR AND A RUDE WOMAN
I have read with interest the recent Guardian reports of the Lagos confrontation between the convoy of the Imo state governor and a mother with her children. One side had it that the Gov's sirened entourage assaulted a woman who was driving and had her children in the car. the reason for the assault was simply because she was a common ordinary woman and the dear gov was intoxcated with power and escorted by overzealous gun wielding security men.
Imo Gov press secretary after raining abuses on the woman said that the woman refused to yield right of way to the security entourage thereby causing a breach of security and an accident by smashing into a convoy vehicle.

WHOM DO WE BELIEVE

So at least we now know it was the Imo state governor. So because of a so called 'breach' a woman was assaulted and beaten up in front of her children? What i am most pleased about is that the story at least got in the papers. And the Imo state government is trying to defend this? I am speechless.
