From what I can see, they are only joined at the abdomen. They have their individual heads, hands and limbs separate; only joined together at the stomach region.

I see this operation being successful! No cause for alarm.

Conjoined twins which can't be surgically separated should be put down from birth. It's cruelty to let them grow that way and not have a normal life.

I've only heard of two cases of conjoined twins being separated in Nigeria (at OAU teaching hospital, Ife).

I'm also hoping for that too. The only organ in the body that I'm aware of that can regain its full size when cut is the liver. If they share the same liver, it can be divided and each divided liver will regenerate to its full size.

abroad ke. A team of surgeons has succssfully separated a similar twins joined at the abdomen some years back at oau teaching hospital. Though each case with its own merit,but i think nigerian surgeons will do it succsessfully with god's help.

I hope you're right, but from what I can see, it looks like they share the same stomach, which will make this a hard case if true. Just hope am wrong.
