Sad. But if truly FMaths is required, then the grim fact is that you will be 'UNREGISTRABLE'. That means the registration officers will scratch your name off and advice you to apply for a change of course(free for unregistable candidates). With this you may be given another course, which at best will be in the Education Sciences.

That way, you'll have sth to hold on to if your application falls through. And I guess you're young. A first class in Physics is better than a 2.1 in Engineering.

Bcoz of time nd space, i deliberately chose physics dis yr afta some logical thinkin, of which if i had chosen mech eng, i wud've even been on merit list too, but by now, i'd b botherin masef abt fmaths (i didn't even realise it's compulsory until i got to dis thread). Now, i'm thankin God 4 havin made d rt decisn.
All i'm sayin is dis dear, admissn in dis country is just too complicatd dat u may end up nt fulfilin ur childhood fantasy of bcomin a 'certified' system engineer. U cn stil carry on wit ur career in system engineerin by learning d skills nd keepin ursef posted in d field irrespective of ur course, just make sure u gradu8 wit gud grades.
I shld've ignored u completely bcoz u even hv a chance to study elect engr else whr even if physics waz'nt gud enof yet, u're here makin noise.
