[b][/b PLS ADD OR IMPROVE TO THIS PAGE, I WANT TO KNOW IF MONEY REALIZED IS ONLY TO FEED THE VICTIMS OR TO ALSO BUILD FALLING HOUSES. PLS THIS IS JUST TO KNOW HOW TO START HELPING THIS COUNTRY.I THINK, IF AT ALL THE MONEY IS MEANT TO BE SHARED AMONGST NIGERIAN, NIGERIAN COULD RECEIVE 1M EACH.

The Senate has unanimously agreed to donate a total sum of N22.8million to victims of flood disaster in various parts of the country.

Business mogul, Aliko Dangote, who is a co-Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Flood Relief and Rehabilitation (PCFRR), led the pack when he made a donation of N2.5 billion and another N150 million for the running of the secretariat of the PCFRR.

President Jonathan at a fund raising dinner held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa had in his address of welcome, lamented the unpleasant situation the victims have been subjected to, which necessitated intervention by the Federal Government with the release of N17.6 billion.

Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPN) and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (EEPNL), affiliates of Exxon Mobil Corporation, have donated the sum of $500,000 (about N80 million) to victims of the recent flooding disaster in five of the worst hit states. ETC
