well, i think that's not the issue. I scored 214 and was shortlisted for a course that requires 261. A friend of mine used awaiting result, and was shortlisted and admitted wit 50 in p-jamb. It might be your subject combination, check your post jamb slip

eld was 227, and perhaps, i'm nt 4rm one. Ogun is nt an eld. Forget about course cut off, once you score above 200 you stand a better chance too. Could u believe that most of the newly admitted students never scored upto the stipulated cut off? I'm a living testimony

it's 4 only those who were shortlisted and got 50 and above in post jamb, but didn't meet up with their course cut off. They are to be changed to courses closely related with them and less competitive i.e. law to history, political science, sociology etc

saleemema: the general(merit) cut off is 50, but due to the high number of students that will obtain higher marks your course may require above that(fact)-i.e. Law, Medicine, English/Literature, political science etc. The paper consists of 100 questions, 25 questions from each of your Jamb subjects...
