to start with, note that the dimension of electromotive force(e.m.f) is the same as that of potential difference(P.d). The P.d or e.m.f between two points A and B is the work done in bringing a unit charge from an infinity to a point A. That is e.m.f=work done(W)/charge(Q)... But work done = force(F) x distance(x)... and Charge=current(I) x time(t)... Bringing out the dimension for all the quantity, we have... Force=[MLT^-2].....that is mass x acceleration.. Distance is simply [L]..... Current is simply [I].... And time is simply [T]... Substituting all this into the formular for e.m.f, we have... e.m.f=[MLT^-2 x L] / [I T].... Using indices to combine L and T, and taking I to the numerator, we have... e.m.f=[M L^2 T^-3 I^-1] |

all i can see on my ume section is my jamb reg numba. my choice of school is uneditable (blank). my jamb result is not on display i tried inserting my subjects nd score but it was not on display in d final preview..... who else has dis prob while reg.. |
