2.2 will land you a straight M.Sc but you must write and pass the qualifying test which is as competitive as NDA placements.

I'm currently a student of Msc. Computer Science (1yr FT) @ the University of Lagos. I never attended a tutorial, though i had time to study past questions and review some of my old undergraduate notes. Over 200applicants wrote the entrance test, but only 45 scaled through. MIT(part time) admitted more students (about 150). Like Dr. Wise said, PT is relatively easier to get than FT, cos they pay more, hence, more students and evidently, more revenue for the university.
current fees for most FT prog are: Obligatory fees: 61.5k; School fees: 75k; abstract/prospectus: 10k; departmental dues: it varies (comp sci requires 7k)

Morning fellas, I'll b doin my NYSC by God's grace in batch A(I'm very sure it'll b lagos by His grace)............is it possible 4 me 2 run my masters simultaneously wit ma NYSC? Besides I'v second class and its a bit lower dan 3.0 pls wat re chances? And how stressfull is their calendar, etc...........pls if u find dis post immatured, blame it on ma age (I'm just 22) and correct me whr neccesary. God bless y'all.

u'll need to present ur NYSC certificate during screening. Stress is relative; however, see it as ur erstwhile undergraduate studies with lots of assignments, term papers, field trips n research, it all depends on ur field of study. PS: 22yr olds get married these days!

u'll normally be bombarded with past questions by vendors at the campus, when forms go on sale. same with tutorial centres, infact tutorial centres will be marketed via text msgs.

its nt immature bro, @22 ure naw a man ,its gud u want 2do MSC 2add 2wat u ve, ur grade at 3.0 does nt count since its 22, I belive d skul u grad 4rm naw matas a lot cuse I dnt tink unilag acept all university degree, 2ndly I wud ve advise u to 4get MSC naw til uve finish ur NYSC proper cuse d load wil b much 4u xcept u want 2do partime , u can use dis time to do NIM or ACA dependng of ur grad course, 4me dats all I can say here cuse am nt a MSC student already am about 2 enta,wish u best

I've being following U.I and UniLag Graduate School' news these days, some new UI Graduate Students are having their registration now, I hope UNILAG programme ll be faster than theirs, Pls, keep this thread alive so we may know on tym, should UNILAG begins †ђε sales of Form.

Unilag ended its registration for new n returning students, 31st Dec 2012. Session actually started on the 14th Dec., 2012
@chiboy, dis is Nigeria, i don't have an authoritative answer on "inside runs", all i can say is, I did neither inside runs nor tutorials. The list of successful peeps, alongside their scores will be pasted at respective departments.
