"Taxing" is a slang that simply means asking for money or items from other people.
Imagine these scenarios
-You go to work wearing a new wristwatch, tie, necklace or earring, a colleague sees you and compliments you on your good look. He/she then goes ahead to ask you to give him/her your wristwatch, you politely decline. He/she keeps on insisting throughout the day and at the end of the day you finally hand it over to him/her.

-A Senior student in a secondary school sends a junior student on an errand to buy him four exercise books, he gives him N50 and tells him to buy the books and bring back change shocked

-You walk out of church after sunday service and three young men who live on the street with you walk up to you asking for money and they keep doing this on a daily basis.

Have you ever taxed others or been taxed by others? Share your experience.
