For Maths: medical aspirants. This is one of the maths question 1n a class of 160 students, 100 offer Geography and 80 offer Chemistry, how many students will offer both? Solution: let x represent the number of students that offer both 100 - x + x + 80 - x = 160 100 + 80 - x + x - x = 160 180- x = 160 180 - 160 = x 20 = x x = 20 students offer both Geography & Chemistry |
