Business Development Manager

Job Title: Business Development Manager________________________________________

Department: Administration
Reports To: MD/ CEO

Description: Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships for the organisation. Build relationship with organization's clients and converting relationships to real business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Manages the organization’s financials
• Oversees and directs short, medium and long range forecasting on organizational activities.
• Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
• Analyzes operational issues impacting functional groups and the whole institution, and determines their financial impact.
• Evaluates and recommends business partnering opportunities.
• Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
• Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.
• Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Evaluates and recommends business partnering opportunities.
• Work with all EMPLOYMENT CLINIC’S stakeholders, and closely with the Executive Director
• Carry out other tasks as directed by the Chief Executive.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Ability to work independently towards agreed broad goals and specific targets
• A minimum of the equivalent of a degree from any tertiary institution. A Masters Degree would be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and social media skills.
• At least 2 years of business development experience.
• Candidate must have a good command of the English Language, proficient in the same with excellent oral and writing skills.
• Computer Literate
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.


Brands, Marketing and Communications Manager

Job Title: Brands and Communications Manager

Department: Administration
Reports To: MD/ CEO

Description: The position requires demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality executive level communications, with a strong bent in social engagement and customer-centric Communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To build and manage Employment Clinic’s brand and reputation.
• To establish a thought leadership platform to build industry credibility.
• Communicate and connect with clients and company’s target audience
• Promote organization's brand, products and services to stakeholders and prospective customers.
• Build advertising and marketing program for company’s products and services.
• Works closely with the team to ensure clear and concise messaging that aligns to organizational goals.
• Establish the right Executive brand and reputation that ultimately builds respect and trust with all key constituent audiences.
• Build constituent messages for different communities. Rally and engage those communities via campaigns, engagement, etc.
• Build a cadence of communication and engagement with customers on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
• Pitch, place and manage ideas that amplifies Employment Clinic’s leadership role in the industry.
• Develop and create presentations and scripts aligned with the overall communication strategy.
• Work directly with the Executive Director in achieving organizational goals.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Superior organization, written and verbal communication skills
• A Bachelors degree with at least 3 years field experience.
• Ability to understand a variety of people, confident, a team leader and quick learner
• Ability to think strategically and drive compelling messaging, presentations, and speeches, offline and online communications and constituency engagements.
• Must possess the maturity to respond to changing demands, responsibilities and deadlines while meeting expectations.
• Detailed and process-oriented, effective at engaging and influencing.
• Experienced in advertising, branding or marketing communications.
• Must have a good knowledge of graphic design
• Proactive, able to work independently as well as in teams
• Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
• Experience with developing and implementing complex communication strategies and plans.
• Experience working with senior management would be an advantage
• Strong project management and cross-group coordination and collaboration skills, demonstrating the ability to plan and drive for results and hit deadlines.
