Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm - this thread is very interesting

i think wafi (warri ) pidgin english is the most complex and interesting to hear of all the variants of Nigerian pidgin.
Sierra - leonian pidgin is also very similar to Nigerian pidgin, it has soooo many yoruba words in it.A result of the resetlement of many slaves from our coastal areas when the british were diverting arrested slave ships to freetown,

there is also the caribean creoles, pidgins spoken by the black people of the caribeans
Re: Nigerian Slangs by Badman888(m): 1:54am On Apr 14, 2006
you can check out pidgin english dictionary

Re: Nigerian Slangs by nuggard(m): 1:24pm On Apr 17, 2006
I was surprised to find out that Ghanaians speak pidgin too. Though of course theirs is a diff variety.
For instance our own "omo" (pal) is equivalent to "Charly" in Ghana.

I like to think Na Beans started from my High school in Jos.
