21 ways to be a better Nigerian this year...

1. Respect the rights of others.

2. DO not insult Nigerian Leaders (e.g. the President, Senators and Governors). Insults have not changed anything and it is very unlikely that it would bring positive result to you or Nigeria. However, constructive criticism could help.

3. DO not blame the Nigerian Government for your personal problems. Blaming the Government does not change anything. People are making it legally in the Country. Take charge and find solution to your problems.

4. Pay your taxes. It pays to be responsible.

5. DO not condemn other religion or claim that your religion is superior to the religion of another person. This is not an argument any human being can win and the desire to win this argument continues to spell doom for human beings.

6. Do not say negative things about any part of the Country because you are not form there. Those who live in glass house should not throw stones and moreover no part of Nigeria or anywhere in the world is free from problems.

7. STOP predicting negative future for Nigeria; you should not be a 'Prophet of doom'.

8. DO not support any form of crime by your words or action. There is no excuse for committing a crime.

9. DO not rejoice when something bad happens just because it happened to a Politician or someone in Government. It only shows that you are opening your heart to evil.

10. REPRESENT all that is good about Nigeria in your business and personal life. When the good people that make Nigeria great are to be counted, you should be able to stand up.

11. DO not focus on the problems of Nigeria except you are planning a solution.
12. THINK of ways to support the Government at the different levels to make progress in Nigeria.

13. STOP spreading bad news about Nigeria. It is not helping and know that if you are not part of the solution to a problem, you are part of the problem.

14. PRAY for Nigeria because when it is well with Nigeria, it is well with you and your family.

15. Build a strong relationship with your fellow Nigerians; united we are stronger.

16. CELEBRATE all that is good about Nigerian (the people, culture, places and much more). If you don’t celebrate the good in your country, you cannot expect a foreigner to do it for you.

17. PATRONISE very well made in Nigeria goods. We have so many of them.

18. VISIT different places in Nigeria this year. You cannot experience the best of Nigeria from one place.
19. INVEST in Nigeria. Nigeria is a fast developing economy that is yielding good return on investments. Ask successful Entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

20. DEVELOP a Personal social responsibility this year. You have been complaining since last year and yet nothing has changed. Put your passion, energy and money into something will create positive change in the Society and Nigeria as a whole.

21. UPHOLD then glory and honor of Nigeria. Be Proudly Nigerian!
