With just seconds remaining, a goal up and you are with the ball inside the opponents area, why on earth are you desperate to score, just to lose possession that resulted in the goal?
You just had to hold the ball up for few seconds to run down the time, especially with officials that give every single 50-50 decision against you. This just naive management and players on the part of Nigeria

I have stopped believing in Nigeria long time ago. Therefore, I don't get disappointed anymore. They have gone again to disgrace us once more.

RedReact: 4 minutes extra time, refreeeeeee!
There is a great conspiracy to deal with Nigeria, one the extra time was too much, but i would advise that nigeria should pull from all FIFA and CAF competitions to help us from having high BP

Now, the Super Eagles have to beat both Zambia and Ethiopia to be sure of progressing to the q/finals.

Friday's match just got a whole lot BIGGER.

Oh these chickens wanted to score in the dying minutes, why did they not score during regular time? Even if we make it out of this group, we are not even guaranteed to win bronze with the play I just saw.

I'd say Burkina Faso deserved a point.
The Nigerian team has a long way to go. They're lucky they weren't playing Ghana, CIV or Zambia otherwise they'd get whooped!
Re: AFCON: Nigeria Vs Burkina Faso (1 - 1) On 21st January 2013 by Duru1(m): 9:02pm On Jan 21, 2013
Burkina Faso boys played better viewable soccer than Nigerians. The Nigerian boys were characteristically wasteful in the attack and never learnt that scoring is not exclusive destiny of a person few meters from the goalkeeper. If Nigerians keep playing in the manner they played today, they will not make it to the second round.

lillyveezy: keshi don show us his high style.See how he (keshi) rubbish Nigerian pride

What do you want Keshi to do, he is just a coach and not a magician. Its obvious we don't have quality players that can compete at the highest level.
The quality of this game is in no way better than the monkey post we play in my neighborhood every Saturday.

dinggle: where is the discipline in Keshi's team? Keshi left better players for experimental players. Yobo is tired and should be allowed to retire early. Osaze impact was missing and Keshi can't deny it.
I thought keshi was the coach and should be able to manage all types and behaviors of player but oh well, osaze must be laughing out loud...
