Let me commend the efforts of those posting information on nairaland, but i am dismayed by some of the misleading information on recruitment exercise going on in NNPC. please house members no such exercise is going on. May i advise the promoters of nairaland to creat a system that will make all contributors comments to go through processing before they are posted on the web please this will save rumours capable of causing inestimable damages from mingling around us. This is to inform the general public to beware of and to ignore the misleading information currently being circulated, particularly on a website "nairaland.com" concerning an on-going recruitment exercise in NNPC.

NNPC wishes to refute this misleading information in all its entirety. The Corporation only recently concluded its 2006 Recruitment Exercise and no decision has been taken to date to embark on another exercise so soon after the conclusion of the last one.

If and when NNPC does decide on the matter, the Corporation will as a matter of policy, give the information the widest possible publicity both in several national daily newspapers and on its website, nnpcgroup.com.

Again, you are telling us to buy a book that will help us on preparing for a job interview and that if we need the book we should send money to an account of your. how can you convince us that this is not another lie. for me, i will not advise any one in this room to go for the book because you might loose your money and not get any book or u might get rubbish as a book. please, forumite be warned about these kind of persons that only misinforms.

@ lyrical, i agree with u. wonder if the moderator still does his job. How can someone post what is obviously a scam and the moderator wont scrammble it! I once called myself what I was not when someone asked who I was and I was barred from posting for some wks so what has gone wrong now. We know there are desperate pple in Naija but all the same I think the moderator still owes us a job of not allowing such post to rear its head on this forum.
@renner, I guess u dindt read what I posted from the NNPC site. The site actually mentioned that nairaland posted a wrong info. about them and that the public should beware!That's like a slap on our faces.

I think where they say that where there is a law, it ll be an offence to break it. We all read the terms and conditions that apply to this site b4 joinins so whoever has forgotten this terms should go back to them and be careful of what to post.
@itsmd, the moderator didn't ban me the day I posted what was against the site's rules but some days later so I wonder why we still av this post and thread!Am not condemming the moderator, all av said was "I wonder if he still does it job" There's a Yoruba saying that "it's at one's work that we know how lazy one is".Since the moderator has stated his terms, he is duty bound to check all post even if not immediately.
