Indeed, JosBoy4Lif is quite correct.  It is always a great benefit to have another language on one's tongue.  You are to be commended for wanting to broaden your horizons, man angel.  Allow me to say: Bonne Chance! grin

Re: Where Can I Learn French? by 7eleven: 7:52am On Apr 01, 2009
FRENCH IS NOT A LANGUAGE U LEARN FROM THE BOOK because OF THE ODD WAY THEY PRONOUCE WORD OUT TUNE WITH THE SPELLINGS . FOR EXAMPLE, THEY SPELL ROBERT THE
SAME WAY BUT PRONOUNCE IT "ROBEL"(WHICH MAKES ME WONDER WHY THEY DIDN'T
SPELL IT THAT WAY IN THE FIRST PLACE!)

ITS BETTER YOU GO TO THE FRENCH VILLAGE AND HEAR PPLE SPEAK. THAT'S THE BEST WAY TO LEARN A NEW LANG.

Stop this nonsense talk boy!! If you don't have a reasonable contribution must you talk? We all have different visions and aspirations and nothing stops you from from attaining them. Knowing other languages are great things, you alone know why you need them.

I am keen on learning Hausa language and won't mind a book that could train me.
Re: Where Can I Learn French? by fransois2(m): 9:56am On Apr 01, 2009
Cela dépend de votre situation géographique et de temps. Mais je recommande vivement Alliance Francais car elle est l'un des rares endroits où vous souhaitez apprendre le français à la française. grin
All I said in a nut shell is Alliance Francais is the best in Nigeria if they are available in your location.
If you don't mind spending at least three month, then you can go to French Village at Badagary in Lagos.
By the way I speak french and you may want to start with me. Just reach me through fransois_1@yahoo.com or text 080346244699.
Bientot. wink

Yes, Alliance Francaise. They have schools in major cities like Port Harcourt, Lagos, Ilorin, Enugu. Check on the internet for their contact address. You will love to learn french the french way (that's the AF slang).

I did some classes with them while I was in PH and I did enjoy as well as learn the ''un peu'' (little) french that I now speak.

There are also professional exams you can do after you have gone through the course for a certain period.

Meilleurs voeux !!(best wishes)!
