Pls I'll like to know if its possible to use my bb subscription to set up wireless hotspot and connect with my laptop.. Any 1 done dat b4? Pls respond. Thanks |

Well, there's currently no app for BB that enables u create a hotspot. You can however use your BIS sim on your modem then create a hotspot which your phone can connect to. Get this software @ Download connectify PRO version |

Am using bb curve 9360 and it has 'mobile hotspot' I put it on, connected with my laptop and it did connect to d phone via d 'mobile hotspot'. Even had 'internet connection' showing on d laptop. But tried browsing with d browsers and they wouldn't load a page. So am just tryn2 knw if I'd have to put any settings in d pc browser. Am using mtn on ma bb by d way (unlimited bundle) |

Version 7 found in the Bold 5 & 6, Torch 2 & 3, Curve 7, etc have in built wifi hotspot. |

My bold 5 has mobile Hotspot but I updated it before it showed up. If u your own is not showing it just try and update it. If you have so many applications in your phone try has taken most of the space you have in your phone memory, try delete some of the applications before you start! |
