The National Identity Number project was officially flagged off today at Government House, Abuja with President Goodluck Jonathan getting registered into the National Identity Management System.

According to our beloved DG, the NIN, not the card, is the most important element of the identity management system. Your number, once you're registered, becomes your number for life!

The president has charged us to register all qualified persons by December 31st 2014, though the truth is: every passing day brings along newly qualified persons as new persons would clock 16 years of age every single day.

Today's flag-off of the project is the reason why recruitment has taken a fast pace over the last one-and-half weeks. Expect more and more people to receive the message of joy. Cheers all.

I heard it on radio just now that the president launched NIMC project today and gave the commission December 2014 deadline for every Nigerian to get registered. Hoping that this will prompt NIMC to conclude this ongoing recruitment process before end of this year. God don't pass me by when next NIMC rolls out life changing sms. I really want to be part of this unique organization.

@bigbroda, I also did applied for installation and maintenance. My interview was conducted on May 14th. I strongly believe that this week will not pass me by in jesus name and other applicant that trust in God.
