If our team can play with purpose we will make him eat his words.

Come sunday he should just pray he doesn't face moses on the flank. In fact his comment should be a morale boaster for the team coz it's better to be underrated than to be overrated. Mikel should prove him wrong.

No, our leaders did not slaughter our pride. We slaughtered it ourselves. Imagine insulting Nigeria as a nation, GEJ a president and our Super Eagles online all the time... Why wouldn't others do the same or worse?

This is what is wrong with africans.
Enjoy a little success and then it gets into your head.
When Nigeria was at the pinnacle of african football, where was CIV?
Do CIV have a football history as rich as Nigeria?
Anyway,i don't blame him,it is the moronnic NFF that should be blamed for not developing our football.
He should remember though, that success moves in cycles.
It is CIV's turn today, tommorrow it will be Nigeria's.

onatisi: this is the result nigerians get when they go online to criticize and lambast their national team , why wont eboue call us super chickens after we nigerians are the ones that named our super eagles so, what ppl dont know is that ppl all over the world read all those and these negative comments nigerians make aout their country and this gives them a sort of view and picture about nigeria and nigerians

Well noted, now tell us the best name to give a non nonperforming team? the first name of the team was the Red Devils, later the Green Eagles, after Maroc 1988 super performance the then Chief of General Staff renamed them the Super Eagles. But today what si super in this present Eagles.Criticism is a part of teaching and learning. My father used to give us funny nick names when did bad in our school examinations then, so in order to avoid all those names, we worked harder to pass well in our exams.

If you like call them the Supper Angels it will not make them to play like a team. We should stop pretending as if it is good why it is worst than worst in this country. Many years ago Ivory Coast and Ghana suffered the same thing we are witnessing in our football today, they insulted their team, even punished them after Nations Cup 2000 shameful performance, since then the players became disciplined while government invested much on football they are now reaping the dividends, Nigeria we fail to plan and that is why we panned to fail today.

Super Chicken is better name to me for now, until they wake up and act like an Eagle.A man who does not own a house is not supposed to answer RUFUS as a name.
