The Appeal Tribunal on Lagos Local Government Elections today ruled that ACN’s candidate, Wale Adeniji should remain in office thereby dashing the hope of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Ibrahim Obanikoro.
The Lagos State Election Petition Tribunal had in October 2012, declared Ibrahim Obanikoro, the duly elected Chairman of the Ikoyi/Obalende LCDA.
The lead judgment was read by Justice Candide-Johnson and the four other justices on the Appeal Panel concurred with the judgment, making it a unanimous judgment.
National leader of ACN and former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu resides in the LCDA..

And how exactly did you arrive at that juncture?
They were not worse when pdp won at the Tribunal but now worst than pdp because they won at the Appeal court.
You get kro kro for head.

not at all.

acn believes in patiently using the channells of due process to resolve grievances.

pdp believes in bribing its way and if that did not deliver result, they deploy their nurtw thugs to go and assassinate opponents. no respect for due pocess. their due process is on the streets.

Every politician whether Arrangee Confussion or Politician deceive people they are worst and birds of the same feather. On this appeal issue it's winner takes all it can also happen in PDP controlled state
Re: Obanikoro Loses Ikoyi/obalende LCDA by naptu2: 12:18pm On Feb 01, 2013
The appeal tribunal ruled that PDP filed its petition after the deadline (set in the electoral law) and therefore, the lower tribunal should not have heard the petition.

Imagine the gross inefficiency of PDP lawyers.
Was it that hard for PDP lawyers to prepare the necessary papers to file the case that it took them more than the required time?

The Appeal Court (particularly the South West divisions) needs to be fumigated with lethal gases to eliminate the Tinubu rodents that have taken over the place. Something needs to be done fast, and in this instance I support the use of Federal (extra-judicial) might to get those foolish and corrupt Tinubu justices out of the way - if that is what it takes to sanitise the place. I thought this nonsense would have ended with Justhief Salami's deserved elimination.

They cannot win elections fair and square. . .they must always run to their paid servants in the Appeal Court for kangaroo judgments. Utter rubbish. Let's wait and see how far they can go with this strategy in 2015.

dude, I am yoruba tokan tokan but please tell ACN to win elections fair and square without bribing the Judges.

The SW has always since before the creation of Nigeria that we are very democratic and fair when choosing a leader. Now it seems like money wins elections in the SW especiacially Tinubu's money.

Absolute breakdown of OUR FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES THAT MADE THE SW GREAT. WE ARE DECLINING WITH THIS ATTITUDE

If you have evidence that they bribe judges why not come out with it and help Nigeria move forward instead of uploading gibberish here.
