As u said earlier, it's such a big rumour. It can never happen. If u av 160 and above, u can choose Ibadan poly but if u av below u can give it a try coz if u have a high score in post ume, with normal calculation, u are in...all d best to all prospective student of dis our Great polytechnic.

Don't you have account and math in your o'level?
If no, it's better you register for another O'level exam (probably GCE) and continue processing the admission. More so, when your O'level will be needed, the result would have been out.

it's better you stick to the Yabatech you've chosen earlier, even, if the change of institution is bought you can't change to The Polytechic, Ibadan because the name is still not on Jamb Site.

Well, general Jamb Cut Off for this year is 160, but the departmental cut off for your course is yet to be released.

yes, the school 'll not admit through JAMB this year. The school 'll admit through Part Time and also the HND.

Hmm, I'm so sad to inform you all that The Polytechnic, Ibadan 'll not be admitting through JAMB this year (I just confirmed today from RELIABLE SOURCE)... It 'll only admit through Prelim (Pre - ND Programme), Part Time Programme and HND.
So, if you have chosen the school - either first or second choice, do change of institution to another school.

That's very BAD of them! Why didn't they inform the applicants earlier before closure of Jamb registrations. Very Very Bad!

@ all, but, things may still change in the sense that, the school may admit, but little... So, if you know you have the faith of leaving it as your preferred choice, then, no problem...

the school was removed from jamb due to the limited space for new student and they don't want a situation whereby 3000 student will be needed and 60,000 will apply. Thanks.
