This is from one of them. DMainMan: In Islam, we ar told to always b patriotic. So of course, am supporting Nigeria. However, Mali are majorly muslims. Aw can i support a christian dominated nigerian team. I dont even know wot to do but i wil support Nigeria. MAY ALLAH FORGIVE ME IF IT IS A SIN.https://www.nairaland.com/1184276/nigeria-vs-mali-afcon-2013/8#14183570 Really?! See what religion is doing to this country. I am sure most of them are also ready to kill their fellow countrymen for the sake of foreign religion. If I'm a non-muslim nigerian soldier sent to Mali, I'll always be watching my back when amongst nigerian muslims. Sheesh! Imagine MacLatunji as your unit commander! 1 Like |

It is his personal choice to support or not to support the Super Eagles for whatever reason. The person with a problem is you who does not respect that choice and seeks to lampoon and ridicule it via this thread. Get busy with something positive and stop going round the website looking for trouble. |

maclatunji: It is his personal choice to support or not to support the Super Eagles for whatever reason. The person with a problem is you who does not respect that choice and seeks to lampoon and ridicule it via this thread. Ah shut up. Just like it's my personal choice to criticize if I see fit. What's that completely alien concept? Freedom of speech? Calling this looking for trouble? Do you see anyone calling for his head? Or demanding we rewrite the law so we could stone him? What do you expect will take place, a riot? You're just afraid it makes your beloved islam look bad, and it does. What a silly, slavish reason to support a team. I mean, his prerogative, but how STOOPID. How divisive is that, hmm? Meh |

ooman: Nigeria won, who cares what the boko haram think Is that all you care about? I didn't even know we were playing. What is disturbing here is it seems he has to ask allah for permission before supporting a team. Really, for something as trivial as this?? For more important things then, our hero will blindly follow allah then? Even when allah calls for a few things that would be more than a little disturbing, like say violating the rights of others? It's his prerogative though, till he crosses the line of course. |

How sad poster! Patriotism, I believe is the devotion to one's contry. If Allah wants you to be patriotic, it means he wants you to be devoted to your own contry. You can still support whoever you want, don't think is a sin, disappointed maybe |

Shameful. Muskeeto's signature about Tbaba shows the fundamentalism of certain muslims. They would rather follow islam in a destroyed Nigeria than live under a secular regime in an advance nigeria. |

Muslims are taught right from young age bout the existence of believers and non believers. They are taught to always support Dar el salaam over anything else. See how big mac is implying that islam gives everyone a choice. Why does Islam not first allow their women to wear what they want, dump Islam if they want, etc? Its part of the infantile brainwashing muslims go through. The Iran PM is in Egypt and the only thing they Shia can agree on with the Ikhwan ( Sunni Muslim Brotherhood) is their Jewish and non believer's hatred 1400 years later after the death of paedophile muhammad! |
