"Other Rappers be like Naija them no dey reach final"
Olamide.

The rapper actually mean well for the country. He made all realize where we are and therefore the need to turn around the performance of the national team.

mukina2: The Super eagles of nigeria defeated Mali 4 -1 in a one sided semi final match, with goals from Musa, Echiejile, Ideye and sissoko scored an own goal.

After atrocious referring decisions, the Burkinabees had a legit goal disallowed and a player sent off, they came back from 1 down , leveled the score through bance, went to shoot outs and won.

detailed preview + teamlists to be posted later

Since we have no polls. we will do it in two separate posts

It wasn't an own goAl, it was deflected and counted for Emenike so correct it.

effiongbass: Daimler investment(d a i m l e r i n v e s t m e n t . e u) is an opportunity for people around the world to enrich themselves & this type of opportunity only comes ones in a while. seems too good to be true but from my research about Daimler, Daimler Investment is an easy to use and very profitable. Daimler investment programme is a perfect solution for investors who are seeking quick BUT safe way to make residual earnings on the internet. Daimler is literarily an house hold name. They are the makers of the Mercedes Benz cars and the likes. With Daimler investment, i believe we dont have to worry about instability or inconsistencies like others.

Thanks for this opportunity Daimler!

it was an own goal. When a strike that was initially off-target gets deflected into goal, it is given as an own goal. Only when it was originally on-target that it is awarded to the striker. Emenike's free kick yesterday was clearly destined off-target, until the huge deflection. So in principle it was an own goal. I don't know if Caf awarded him the goal, cos they have the final say, regardless of what the broadcasters may have written on the screen.

Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi insists his inexperienced side are yet to reach the heights of the nation's dominant 1994 African champions.

Keshi, a player in the team that won the Africa Cup of Nations 19 years ago, guided his side to this year's final with a 4-1 victory over Mali in the semi-finals in Durban on Wednesday.

"The 1994 squad took us five years to build. This team is just five weeks old," he said.

"We are still growing. If the players think we are there, that is it.

"If they think we can't lose a game, it's going to be like this forever, then no.

"Sometimes things go up and down. We're still adding and subtracting.

"If I see a player that is very good that can provide something tangible for my team I'll bring him in.

"I'm still building. But I don't know if I'm going to be building after the tournament because after the final on Sunday I don't know if I'm still going to be in a job or not."

Meanwhile, Mali coach Patrice Carteron said it was difficult to come to terms with the loss to Nigeria.

"I am proud that after so much hard work with the players we've been able to play well," he said.

"Even though we didn't go through to the final, I'm keeping positive and thinking about the positive aspects of the team.

"The team has been able to reach the semi-final and that is something that is definitely good."

Nigeria will meet Burkina Faso in Sunday's final in Johannesburg.[b] YOU CAN GET ALL LIVE BETS AND STAKES ON www.NaijaBet.com i dey get my Money o

Big ups to true SUPER DUPER EAGLES FANS who have been with the team both in victory and in shambles ,SHAME on all those who in one way or the other ever call our daring SUPER DUPER EAGLES chicken,i say a very big SHAME to thou you naijahs who would abandon our great SUPER DUPER EAGLES to become asslickers for teams in the premiership ,we all have now seen the quality of input the home base players brought to this team, this shows that with proper management of our league in no time it will become the envy of many ,and the abundant human resource in our league will be used to its fullest,we need God help to us fulfill our greatest potentials which is our human resource ,this is 1000 times better than crude oil. we must wake up as a nation to move this country forward,YOU AND ME.
I will rather support the SUPER DUPER EAGLES in good or bad times than any mediocre team in Europe who would prefer a under develop Nigeria and Africa to be underdeveloped in other for them to continue their dominance on Black Africa making it look like its our leaders fault ,but they hide behind the curtain to perpetuate their evils on the black race ,but i tell you all to rise up as a people to see the upliftment of or country and race ,let us all unite ,doesn't matter if you are yoruba or igbo or ijaw it does not matter .Naijah must unite to achieve greatness.
Please join me ,the focus after our final march should be our national league ,it must be developed, and our football will always know the skies.

Jah bless Nigeria,proudly African

I feel bad for ghana but i think yesterdays loss did them a lot of good,It would,ve been nice if Gyan and co experience the same treatment meted out to Drogbas ivorians and Keitas malians. They need to be shut up for good.

It regret that Jonathan Pitriopa would not be playing in the finals, that boy is so skillful.Im sure his presence would make the finals very entertaining but i,ve always had hope in the Eagles,They,ll deliver...im only worried what becomes of them after winning the cup..like i,ll always tell my zambia very mouthy friend, getting to the top isnt the problem, its the pressure of staying at the top.I pray the eagles continue to deliver.

World cup qualifying is around the corner and they shouldnt rest on their oars, there are more difficult assignments ahead.

Please can someone glue Tony Ubani of Vanguards mouth at the press conferences? He is embarrassing himself and Nigeria. Does someone need to teach a reporter how to ask insightful questions? Is that not what the job is all about?
