Just went long on cad/chf
Everyday i scan the market for fake breakouts. This strategy is very powerful.
just spotted one on cad/chf weekly chart. This is a long term trade.
see chart below for details.
NB: Nothing is guaranteed. Price could just do the opposite and rubbish my analysis.

chart pattern analysis for silver
just spotted an ascending triangle on the 4hr chart.
Price broke out of the triangle yesterday. I'm expecting a pullback to 20.114 region to buy.
should this happen we have a price projection of 194pips. Our tp will be around 22.00
Now, this is how i'll trade this pair today;
since i'm expecting price to pullback to 20.14 region before it heads north, i have a buy limit order waiting to
take me into the trade. Now should price fail to pullback to that level, and in other not to misss this up move
i have placed a buy stop order at 20.61 which means price has
to break yesterday's high to fill me in. In this case i'm being very conservative.

Now, the worrying question, which i don't have an answer to at time moment is this; could this be a fake breakout?
Only time will tell. But i strongly believe it's heading north. yesterday closed as a huge green elephant candle and
it took out the high of the weekly candle (i mean that of last week)
The bulls are pretty much in charge from the look of things.
Let's see how it plays out.

This is indicative of where oil will be in the next few days or weeks. I've been talking about oil being at an unfairly high price for the past few days on this thread.

thank for the coment, yes could have enter at better price than this but when you follow some rules some times you miss a better entry. this trade suppose to place by 10am but my fair i might see unfavourable price that will make miss the trade. so entered at the close of 9am candle.

that's where i have an issue. Its not a trade call but a trend view. So your price target depends on where you choose to enter from. For buys only i suggest buy from a significant dip. A good place to search for buys is when 3 period rsi falls below 30level on 15 and 30 minutes. I have learnt not to target pips but % profit. And my daily target is between 8 and 10%
