is the ipod nano really good?

Oh well in general, Ipod sucks, my reasons, short battery life, hard drive failure, ipod shuffle/nano- capacity is small.

Its kind of sickening to walk into bestbuy or circuitcity and see separate sections for Ipod and mp3.

If you are looking to get an mp3 player, take into consideration flash based device. I know there are ipods that are flash based the battery life is too short. I have being tru 3 generations of ipods all gave me problems then i switched to sony. I use a sony E507, size wise = a pack of hollywood chewing gums. built-in FM tuner, 45+ hrs of battery life, 1GB capacity. With the FM tuner you really don't need that much space. The downside, proprietary software, music format, it converts your mp3 into atrac when transferring. else is fabuloso.

good luck on your mp3 hunt, personally regardless of either nano, shuffle, normal ipods, you can get better value for your money when buying mp3 player. ask others about what they use and problems associated with the devices.

The Ipod Nano is flash based. The main Ipods use a hard drives.

i dont recomend ipod nano at all, the amount of songs it holds for that amount is not wort it, its better to get the ipod video

ipods are very good ohhhhhhhhh, i have all of them but gave them out but have nano and da video one, the amount of songs it can contain depends on the GB, ma nano is 4gb so holds 1000 songs and alot of pixs and ma video is 60gb so i think itz up to 15,000 songs, i love ipods, expensive and as someone mentioned, ebay is da place

IPOD nano,4GB,1000 songs,stores pictures and say 6hrs battery life(not much).End of story.
U can't store videos or shows on it,get this only an IPOD video and for buying videos(guys u sulk,shit i cant imagine buying i get this shit for free, just try you ur sense on them)
