@Andrew...bro i registered for my supplementary Today{PHILOSOPHY} . I think i have a problem though...I wrote Eng,govt,econs,literature in my Jamb, Eng,govt,literature and Crs in my P/ume. However, when i registered i didnt see a course with my JAMB Subject combination....i decided to go for PHILOSOPHY.....what do you have to say bro??, |

I was told it is our Postutme subject combination that will be used for the supplementary admission, instead of our JAMB subject combination, if thats the case then................I am on POINT! Its all good, I'm sincerely hoping for the BEST!! |

Kingsleypower@: I also hope that's the case, but I'm afraid that's not what I saw on Uniuyo's site. Perhaps, the person that told you that did so on the premiss that your UTME and PUTME subject combo were the same. Anyways, the person may be right. When I saw the discrepancy between your UTME and PUTME subject combo I was left bereft of any advice to give u, honestly. I was wondering why you weren't consistent with your subject combo. This kind of mistake can be costly sometimes, you know. I have seen a guy(on unilag's thread) that got up to the merit cut off mark, but was denied admission because of wrong UTME subject combination. However, I pray your case won't be the same. I dnt think travellin down to UYO to pay the acceptance fee should be much of a problem. I went thru much more stress during my time. |

REUBEN010: Yeah that is true but I don't think it will make sense traveling all the way like Lagos to Uyo just to pay acceptance fee and then return, doesn't make sense to me. If you have relations in Akwa-Ibom, they can make the payment for you and keep the receipt or whatever for you until clearance time, just supply them all the information they'll need at the Bank. 1 Like |

I have a bit of an issue bothering me...my name was on d merit list for econs dept but when I checked my jamb adm status it wasn't reflected there, rather wat was shown is d admission a private uni offered me some tym ago...could dis turn out to b a problem?..... pls help me out if u hav any reasonable info abt such ...tanx in advance |

fr3edoh: I have a bit of an issue bothering me...my name was on d merit list for econs dept You need to go to the private university and reject the admission. They will give you a rejection letter which thereafter, u will submit it to Uniuyo's admission unit(i.e the school u want to accept their admission offer). Uniuyo will then submit your rejection letter to JAMB in Abuja for them(JAMB) to provide ur Uniuyo's admission letter. You've got to be fast with the whole process. Goodluck bro! |
