This quarter-final draw also served up a potential tie between current holders Chelsea and Manchester United, who have won the competition 11 times.
For that match to take place, Chelsea have to win their fifth-round tie at Middlesbrough and Manchester United need to beat Reading at Old Trafford on Monday night.
Wigan Athletic's reward for their 4-1 win at Huddersfield is a quarter-final trip to play the winners of the replay between Everton and Oldham Athletic, while Manchester City - who won the FA Cup in 2011 - will host Barnsley at the Etihad Stadium.
