It is Federal road from Oshodi down to Sango Ota.

Even Obasanjo always avoid the holes when he was in power by taken Helicopter from MMA to his jungle home.

teskyg: Most of the commuters passing through that road also pay their Taxes to Fashola.All the Buses that ply that road daily pay Taxes to Fashola Agents on those highways.They can use some part of those Taxes to fix the road.

@lovethokoh please can you post pictures of the road with Pot Holes(craters)for the world to see, i am very familar with this road.
I think we should use this thread to highlight abandon FG goverment Roads that need attention, that way they have no excuse and won't tell us they are not aware.
Please highlight and Post pictures of any bad Federal Goverment roads you are aware of.
it is about time we started to put our ineffecient, inresponsible and inactive Federal Goverment to shame, Starting with the Federal Ministry of Works.

Ol boy easy ..apapa road is being repiared by julius berger ok over a long time!! And works is still on..oo!! Its a federal govt road..fashola dey try weller at least some street are being tarred in my area some retarred... I support your sayings jonathan is a big dissapointment sha

A BROKEN DOWN BRT BUS HAVE LONG BEEN ABANDONED ON THIS ROAD.

Guys & ladies
The Reality of the issue is that there needs to be a change in Road construction and Rehabilitation Policy in Nigeria, all Stake holder have to be jointly liable for construction and Rehabilitation of roads linking states.
The Reality of the situation is that the Federal Goverment are the least Concerned with the rehabilitation of this road as they are based in Abuja they are less concerned with state to state roads, they don't use them
The states Lagos and Ogun state should be pushing the Federal Goverment and they all should be jointly responsible for the Rehabilitation of this roads and others in some proportion.
The solutions are quite easy and would ensure state to state roads are in good condition and done to a reasonable standard
This just requires a change in the Law slightly
The bottom line is you can not rely on the Federal Goverment to do anything for the people, they are completely Useless.

I hope the camera will be clear enough this early morning so that I can post pictures of how terrible the 'gutters' on the abeokuta express way looks like.The potholes are big enough to be called 6ft. especially the iyana-ipaja axis.If u are driving and u r new to that area, wow! am sorry for your car.

That's another terrible road in Lagos, the flood never gets dried no matter the sunshine and lack of rain, until drainage is constructed, that road doesn't have a solution

Those why ply Iyana Ipaja to Sango will affirm that the road is in shambles, The gridlock caused by the total neglect of that road is appalling.

I was even thinking the number one supporter of the GEJ government will be on this thread blowing his trumpet as usual am talking about no other than Nairaland's sincere 9gerian.

Still I ask what will it take for some Nigerians to know that GEJ is just like OBJ and the rest of our irresponsible leaders who plunder the countrys' resources at the detriment of the masses.
