Actually, they had serious financial issues when erecting this building, that the King of a neighboring 'emirate' (or what are they called) had to bail them out with funds. That's why the name was changed from Burj Dubai to Burj Khalifa in honor of the giver.[color=#000099][/color]

That is Korean engineering in display. The Arabs can not do that on their own just like we Africans. So, there is nothing to glorify there by Arabs.

they're already bankrupt..the emir of abu dhabi had to lend them the money to finish the building that's why they named it after him, burj khalifa..and half the building is empty along with their man made islands. They're dumb spenders.

It is wrong to say Arab Muslims built it . This building was designed by Adrian Smith and constructed by American contractors.

The building was constructed primarily by The primary contractor, Samsung C&T of South Korea.
