For those who use their 600va computer UPS on TV, how long does it last, mine does not last more than 5 mins. I am planning to replace it with a 100ah battery, need to calculate the runtime with the battery it came with, I suspect mine

note coventianl tvs ie CRT consume a lot of load. if you want to carry a tv on a ups, you'd best get an LCD television. . go to any cyber cafe, you'll ofetn find that while the cpus are on ups, the monitors are not.

in short - don't bother.

OYB, don't u think a 100AH battery will make a lot of difference, TVs wattage does not exceed 180watts. To watch a full match with just battery look like an advantage

Oyb, were you trying to say CRTs generally consume more power?

I'm in a hurry but I think just off the fly with a 600VA inverter, you should have a battery rated for at least 150Ah (25%). I may be wrong maybe someone can shed more light.
