joseboy199:
hw wil pressure affect it
increase in pressure favours the forward reaction while reduction in pressure favours the backward reaction

t.boy007:
A
REASON:Rate of diffusion is inversely proportional to the relative molecular mass....i.e the more the relative molecula mass,the less its rate of diffusion...therefore from the question,argon has the highest RMM,it will definately have lesser rate of diffusion
in diz type of que u wont b told cuz dae expect u 2 knw dat cl is always in gaseous state as cl2g
Re: Biology, Chemistry and Physics tutorial thread for jamb by mayorall(m): 9:57am On Mar 02, 2013
t.boy007:
but argon has the highest RMM from the given option A-D.....well,may be you explain

Remember Chlorine is diatomic....Cl2

nice...its the process used in production of soap...
exactly,that is the process of making soap

Which of the following has effect on equilibrium costant?
a)pressure
b)temperature
c)concentration
d)catalyst
e)all of the above except catalyst
Re: Biology, Chemistry and Physics tutorial thread for jamb by mayorall(m): 10:06am On Mar 02, 2013
joseboy199:
u are correct cuz argon has d highest rmm...increasin rate of diffusion is argon,chlorine,oxygen and nitrogen

Nope..Chlorine is diatomic

U r 2correct bro
mayorall:

moles = no of particles/6.02 * 10^23

2 = particles/6.02 * 10^23
particles = 2 * 6.02 * 10^23

particles = 12.04 * 10^23

or 1.204 * 10^23

Give options next time please...

Am nt oo,i mean ansa is electrolytc cathodic protectn with zinc made da cathode nd iron mad da anode
mayorall:

Boss you are confused...option A is electrolytic and you saying the reaction is electrochemical....Option B is one of the uses of electrolysis....remember not all answers in the past questions are correct...
