If a white man should call you chimpanzee, wouldnt you revolt and take him to court for racial comments towards you.This attitude needs to stop. This man needs to be respected and celebrated at least being a former head of states. Certain things we don't have control over, the choice of parents, your birthplace, your tribe, your look, ....this is somebody's else's father, uncle, brother and our former head of states. Watch your language. No human being has been able to choose the way he looks. That comes from God. If you abuse a man based on his looks, who are you accusing? Think. We need to grow up in Nigeria. Illiteracy, and particularly an unwilling attitude to learning is such a big problem here. This is a language you would not find anyone use in the developed world. It is so irritating and backward.

Most people 70 years and above in Nigeria do not know their exact birthday. In their time they did not keep records like we do today. Ask any sincere old man and they will all tell you they work with guestimates.

i think its the ones from traditional homes who dont know their birthdays.

others had their actual birthdays recorded in the church registers by the missionaries and priests.

the former [traditionalists] went by age group, i think, meaning the people born around the same season.

70 years isnt that long ago, there are people far older than that who know their dates of birth.
