Akiika: I'm surprised nobody noticed that names were not printed on the Nigerian jerseys. NFF still can't get it right, I saw the match but couldn't identify the players...it took long before I noticed Enyeama was substituted. Haba, how much be jersey?

Na wa for una with bad belle for anything Nigerian. Most countries don't use printed names for jerseys because they are still trying out their players.
That said, the boys tried oo. The kokoye noise was deafening in d stadium whenever they had the ball. They outnumbered us by 100 to 1 in that stadium. 2-2 was a good score because I only saw a handful of hpd officers. If we trash dem, no b me those drunk fools go use do extra time practice.

let them build their way there. step by step. once we can play teams at our level and do very well defensively FOR NINETY MINUTES (we started well with mexico but got lazy later on in the game), then we can move up to the next level. it's pointless to play brazil if we will lose 6-0 and still cant learn from it.

Not sure why my previous pictures of super eagles practicing wednesday didnt upload. this is live pics from the game. like one nairalander said, thank God say the result end for 2-2 ...man, the crowd were overwhelming! maybe a 99.8 to 0.2 crowd ratio...I sat about 6 seats away from the field...Nigerians were well represented. Kudos to those that flew in and drove long hours to Houston,Tx for the game.

Ignorance.

National team football deosnt end in Brazil or England. To think this Mexico beat Brazil with Neymar in last Olympics final.

The problem with football watchers like you is that after Spain, Brazil, Italy, Argentina, Germany, Holland and maybe England, you probably don't know know that other decent footballing nations like Uruguay, Paraguay, Mexico, Denmark exist. Unfortunately, people like you are in the majority in Nigeria. This is why we always dismiss matches with Mexico, Uruguay, Denmark and similar teams as walk-in-the-park for Nigeria, and get our fingers burnt. If Nigeria want to play Uruguay tomorrow, people like you will see it as a small team, not knowing Uruguay is almost in same class with the Italys of this world in fo0tball, a sem$i finalist in last world cup, a team that has players Nigeria can only dream of like Suarez and Cavani, and until recently Forlan.

Nigeria football fans think footbal end in Brazil or England. Ignorance.

Don't be ignorant dude! Using jerseys with printed names are not compulsory for friendly matches. It's optional

why waste money on names if the final squad is not yet selected. if names are printed, players will get complacent. go and give them your money for them to print jersey names now?
