We should ask the teacher what happened. Sometimes the way these teachers discipline these students is humanly unthinkable. I'm not a lawyer but i think in Nigeria's constitution nobody has the monopoly of assault. A situation where teachers(public) are allowed to assault student freely should be checked. |

DISGUSTING!!!!1 OUTRIGHTLY DISGUSTING. This is straight expulsion without an option, whatsoever. How dare you beat up a class teacher and expect a mere paper handnote from your Dad as recompense for such a sin? well, looks like everything has gone to the dogs these days. Back then in Olivet Heights, you dare not |

Boazizzy08: what a pity, this shows the hieght of failure on the part of some parents in modeling their children to become resourceful and as well contribute in the betterment of the society it has also exposed the rot in the society as a result of negligence by parents. because children coming from homes where there parents have done their assignments well will never indulge in assaulting their teachers. personally i would have wished that those students face Juvenile court after which they would be rehabilitated before re-introducing them into the society.U re very wrong..some kids won't jst listen(ako ogba)..moreover,even sm orphans r well behaved despite d absence of parental guidance..juvenile courts make kids have a dented image n personality disorder wen they turn adults.Wen u grow older n have kids den n u'll understand wat am saying...maybe u cud lock ur son up 4 2days wen he disobeys u,den u'll knw u've lost a son..Wat do u knw abt rehab..don't get me wrong,u rili don't need d xperience, being a lil xposed wil do u some good |

Around the 1994/95, soldiers were drafted to some Lagos State schools to enforce discipline. I believed that measure worked fine, at the time. St. Finbarrs college, Akoka was one of such schools. I think soldiers need to be drafted to these schools for optimum discipline. The 'real' Niger-Delta areas are having serious issues with cultism at both tertiary and secondary levels. This issue must be urgently addressed ASAP. |
