The North can do nothing but what they have been doing since 1999 i.e. to derail whatever central administration that does not favor their demands. They will orchestrate riots after the release of the election results but after one or two days tension will calm down.

It is the SS reaction that Nigeria needs to worry about. They will cripple the economy in less than a week and a long insurgency will begin afresh. The Nigerian government will have no other solution than to tap from the external reserve which will quickly dry up in less than 3mths. Civil servants will be delayed salaries, contract debts will not be paid or awarded. The larger economy will suffer. The new northern President will try a military effort with disastrous consequences. The US, UN and EU will demand Nigerian Troops pull out from the Niger-Delta. A semi-autonomous administration will be set up in the Niger-Delta in less than one year. Referendums will be conducted by the UN for the creation of an independent state in mid 2016. The collective regions of Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa-bom and Cross-River will form a Nation State and by late 2016, this amalgamation will be the newest member of the United Nation. This will lead to a flood of demand of independence from other quarters. The SE will be the first to raise an independent state after the secession of the Niger-Delta states aforementioned without waiting for a referendum. The central Northern controlled Government will at this time be too weak to act. The Central Northern government will oppose it but will not have the diplomatic or military capabilities to stop it. The Middle-Belt will follow through due to unchecked and increased rates of armed attacks by Islamic militias. The UN representative will warn the world of impending genocide. The US will step up the plate to send troops and as such have a military base stationed in the Niger-Delta (somewhere in Cross-River). This is the genesis of AFRICOM. The US President will justify the need for this operational base not only to secure American business interest, stop the genocide in the now killing fields of the middle-belt but to check the ever growing islamic militias in northern Nigeria.

The SW at this juncture will suffer economically and socially. Criminality will be on the highest since the central government is not able to pay police and the army. Urban and Rural criminal gangs will emerge and lord over areas they control. Cross-border armed robbery from this region will lead to highest level of anti-yoruba sentiments from the citizens of the New Niger-Delta. The central Nigerian government will employ these criminal gangs to attack oil outposts bordering the SW and also to disrupt maritime traffic by Piracy. Another valid reason the US President will give for the operation of a permanent forward military base.

Northern Nigeria will sufer the most. Sharia inspired governments will emerge. At least 2 states will have former Boko Haram members as Governors. Sharia law will be strictly enforced.. With no effective police force, the sharia courts shall constitute their own police force and they will draw members from the newly amnestied Boko Haram members. Mohammed Yusuf will be honored publicly by both private and goverment officials.

And as for Tinibu, Buhari will have him in Kuje Prison in less than 2 years of his presidency for critizing his administration handling of the Niger-Delta militant struggle. Tinibu will be arrested and arraigned on charges of corruption and money laundry. The Yoruba vice-President (a protege of Tinibu) will be pressured to resign by his party constituents and his position will beb readily filled by another Yoruba northerner from Kwara (a former Governor).

Caesar1988: Grandpa, igbos have d biggest population in lagos, occupying big positions, doing great in bizness..sharrapppp ur lousy mouth

U a learner?

Come to Lagos and tell me that Igbos are the biggest population. grin

Igbo's like to puff their chests out about business, but the reality is that 80% of businesses in Lagos are owned by the indigenes. The other 20% are split up between everyone else.

I'm starting to feel like Igbos are jealous. cheesy

But your region is landlocked unless you want to dig gutter to the ocean

I hate it when people speak on issues they know next to nothing about.

There is a long thread in the cultural section here tagged " the true extent of alaigbo", i would advise you go to that thread and rid yourself of your ignorance.
I would advise same to your co-travellers out there.

Thanks.
