The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole; and the Attorney General of the Federation, Bello Adoke engaged in an argument over the handling of the murder of Mr. Oshiomole’s former’s aide, Olaitan Oyerinde.

The drama, which occurred at the Council Chambers hall of the Presidential Villa, saw the duo on the verge of a fight until the Chief of Staff, Mike Oghiadome; Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan; and other governors stepped in to save the day.

The altercation started when, during pre-meeting interactions, Mr. Adoke left his seat and moved over to Mr. Oshiomole. A hot exchange of words over the handling of Oyerinde’s death subsequently ensued.

Well,he is not the President and he is one man in the midst of other governors.The last time I checked,Nigerians called this system of govt;democracy.Don't put the blame on him,'their system' on which this country is governed is a farce and it's pretty faulty.

My brother, this is sobering indeed. Makes you remember that: (1) The killer(s) of Bola Ige have not been ascertained. (2) the killer(s) of Chief Harry Marshal have not been ascertained. (3) the killer(s) of Funsho Williams have not been ascertained. I mentioned these high profile names (serving minister, national VP of the PDP and later ANPP, and gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in Lagos) to underscore the seriousness of the poo in which we're in. Meanwhile, when I say the killer(s) have not been ascertained, I mean BOTH the actual killer(s), and most importantly, the individual(s) that initiated/sponsored the assassinations.

In fact, the names I mentioned are far from exhaustive; I'm a bit too tired at the moment to remember other high profile murders that have remained unresolved. Yet, a 'whole' governor has been actively fighting to determine who killed his secretary - - - without success. How, then, can the rest of us 'ordinary' citizens dream of justice in this country?

This country is really messed up. It didn't start today (before we hastily blame everything on GEJ), and it wouldn't end anytime soon, regardless of who is in power. The fact is we are in deep poo, anyway we choose to look at it.

I knw the AGF and i hav met him a couple of times and i must confess he is 1 of the best brains in the legal profession today and he is a perfect gentle man tht is well grounded in the tenets of his profession.He might hav gone to meet d gov with a diff intention but the Gov might hav misunderstood his intent and allowed emotions override his judgement. I rily thnk d gov shuld take things easy.Though i symphatise with him and i understand hw he is feeling. but he shuld allow common sense to prevail.

I gave up on this contraption called Nigeria the day a serving Attorney General of the federation was killed in his bedroom and till this day the issue has died a natural death. The shock of the after events killed his wife one of the finest judges this nation produced. I just shook my head and gave up.
Oshiomole knows nothing will come out of it, he is just trying to satisfy his conscience that he did his best. Unfortunately most of those he is dealing with have no conscience. They've long sold theirs to Lucifer.
