Côte d'Ivoire has 520 km of coastline bordering the Atlantic Ocean: sandy beaches, coconut trees, creeks, cliffs, lagoons allowing swimming, surfing, fishing, water sports and sailing. The cities of Grand-Bassam, Assinie or Sassandra are major tourist destinations resorts.
