Can someone tell; when did the IG of Police give instructions that Nigeria Police should now stop traffic offenders, most especially in the dead of the night.
Can you imagine that the policemen at Isaac John Ikeja Nitel junction now go about stopping cars that beat the traffic light late at night in the guise that these where instructions from the IG of Police, instead of doing their job to safe guard that junction which is notorious for its numerous theft and armed robber incident.

Its most alarming when you hear this from their so called team leader...

Who is supposed to stop cars for traffic offences before? KAI brigade?

So? The traffic wardens are also under the police force. Do you need the fire brigade or boys scout to stop you? If that is what you want, my oga on top will step up a committee to look into that.

so funny when they ain't Traffic wardens but rather RRS who are suppose to be on the watch out for thieves and armed robbers, who have become wardens, but when the real thieves operate, they go into hiding but show there muscles for late night clubbers coming from a hang-out late at night.

There is a need for us at this end to refer to our oga at the top to clear the air on whose function it is to stop traffic offenders whether at night, in the afternoon or even in the morning.

I'm wondering how our oga at the top can resolve this, when it seems he is the one who gave the instructions.
More still our oga at the top needs to know that the police, RRS in particular should be fighting crime and protecting the citizens, the case in which RSS bails at the sight of an armed robber...
