"4G" will only show if your SIM support it... Some operator SIM shows "LTE" instead.
even "H" which is an extension for 3G will only show while "3.5G" or above signal is available.

BBM has always had geo-location. I think he means to ask about the new Glympse-integration feature in this update where one can share your location with another...something like 4sq

4G is showing on 10.3.0.1154 under Mobile Network setting, but i don't think 4G service is available to display it.
