Google Chrome Extension Phew!!
Well I went to the link on page 0, searched for Instagram and Temple Run, clicked download and that was it. When I used my phone search app however, I found the two as files but it never opens. Didn't know i'm supposed to do any other thing to get them working

Loooolllllll

That link is for downloading the bar file. You now need to side load the bar file for them to work

With the update in the works right now, side loading will no longer be necessary because BlackBerry 10 will be able to install those types of file directly

Thanks jare, I usually like things the easy way out. Sounds like a little stress trying to install Google Chrome Extension since i'd need a pc for that. I can always play temple run on my ipad till it gets to BlackBerry App World cheesy

battery is not a problem and OS Upgrade is also not an issue...unlike BBOS, BB10 devices all upgrade to the same OS version at the same time

Thanks a lot Walcolm.

Cool and matured thread this is.

Looks like I'll settle for the Q10 cos on proper review I found the Q5 battery is non removable and it has no HDMI port.

BB10 users, which browser do you use that can download large file? Do you have UC browser in the BB10 app world?

Define large file in this context? Well the normal bb10 browser can download anything without any problems, except u may need a wifi connection

yeah, you can go for the Q10...the Q5 has non removable battery but that's not a show stopper at all....it has a 2180mAh battery and who uses HDMI cables these days when you can connect to your TV wirelessly with Wifi Direct and Miracast? grin

once its released officially, everybody will e able to just grab android files and install

the first place to start is to update to BB OS10.2, then try to sideload the latest version of Viber available...if that doesnt work, try the version before the latest and see how it pans out
I have updated to 10.2.1803.. I tried viber both old and new version and nothing worked.what do I do?

I couldn't wait so I did the 1 day plan which worked but I still av till midnight Aldou the recharge card issue was resolved this afternoon. Wat do u suggest I do? Can I go ahead and do the 1500 bis? Or wait for the 1day to expire first. Thanks in advance.

I installed viber yesternight just before I fell asleep. It's working fine on 10.2.1.1055

Yes I installed both instagram and viber apk directly

Once you install an android market place e.g. 1mobile.com or Amazon, you can download android apk directly and install

What code did you use for the subscription ? You have to use a specific code

There's a thread on nairaland on Airtel bis

Thanks for your response. I actually dialed *141*1# and followed the instructions and subscribed for1 month blackberry complete plan. Aldou with the balance on my phone it seems they didn't deduct 1500, av made calls b4 I realised that, so i think 1400 or so wad deducted.

Well, my question now is that after restoring my BlackBerry Protect I could not find my memo and password keeper. How do I go about that? And pls where do I check my battery level?

Thanks in advance

Yeah I use z10 and the 10.2.1.1055 was released first for the z10 100-1 model. I think the developer has now released for the other BlackBerrys

I can give you the 1mobile.com apk once you update your OS

You can re-install password keeper for BlackBerry 10 from BlackBerry world

Memo has been replaced by 'remember' in BlackBerry 10 but your previous memo will not copy over to BlackBerry 10

Battery percentage will come with the next OS update. See the picture in the leaked version I'm using

You did ? shocked that's a pleasant surprise. I guess that improvement came with the later updates. I couldn't move my memo over on 10.0

I'll see if I can use my last bbos back up to restore my old memos to remember
