noob03saibot: just follow the prompt, dial *777# then select 1, select 1 again, then 2 and finally 3. your sub should be done. go to mobile settings and change your APN to gloflat, username and password : flat 1 Like |

Folks, Let me remind you again that virtually all full featured data plans offered by all telecom companies work on the BlackBerry 10 devices irrespective of the name of the plan...the exceptions are the social plans (i.e. social media plans(facebook, twitter etc) or IM plan that allows you to use BBM, whatsapp etc but not other internet services) these limitations make them problematic on BB10 devce.... previously, the native BIS data plans were the most generous data plans available for BB10 devices. glo and airtel were the two telcos that allowed their native BIS work on the BlackBerry 10 devices while MTN and Etisalat took specific and deliberate steps to prevent us from using the native BIS plan in an effort to force us to use the more expensive BB10 dedicated plans With the data war going on between the telcos, looks like we wont need native BIS data plan anymore and subscribing to these humongous data plans will give us more bang for the buck. Airtel and glo currently offer some interesting plans that have been mentioned severally in previous posts so please check out these data plans to reward them for years of being loyal to BlackBerry 10 users 5 Likes |

Pls, my blackberry Q10 camera and flash light stop working.
whenever I tried to take a picture -it will display "the camera can't
be started" pls house wot wil I do now, I hav removed the battery
several time hoping that it will come back to life but the case stil
remain the same. I read all pages thinking may be I will see a
similar complain and solutions. pls help ur friend. |

If you are not on the latest OS, update your device to the latest OS available for your phone and if the problem is a software problem, that should fix it If you are already on the latest OS version however, it is a hardware problem |

@ walcolm Great work and input here. Can you kindly do a review of the new data subscription of glo. Some users noted a rather high rate of depletion of data from the new sub. I'm of the opinion that it could have been caused by change of APN (difference in compression rate) What's your observation? Thanks. |

Please house someone should educate me on the new glo data, e.g the #2000 for 6gb. I heard it's for Android only but I'm sure there's a way around it to enable it work on blackberry. If it works on blackberry does it need an apn? If yes I'd appreciate if anyone can help with the apn and password. |

olanie: the current data subscription from glo is as generous as the 1k for 3gb BIS plan that we have been using since BB10 came on the scene. its a simple arithmetic of how much per MB. i switched from the BIS data plan to the one of the new data plan 4k for 9GB but i have now noticed there are other plans that are even cheaper than that. On how fast data depletes, i know for certain that Airtel only allows half of their BIS data once they establish your device is not a legacy BB (curve, torch etc) so if you use airtel BIS on android, iPhone or BB10, your data will exhaust faster than if you used it on a legacy BB. for Glo however, i don't think they are doing that on their new data plans because these plans are not for any specific device like BIS so they have to bill the data at the same rate on all devices. to access the new data plan, *777#, 1-data services, 1-buy data, 2-monthly data plans and select the number for the monthly data plan you want 1 Like |
