Two highway accidents on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway has claimed the lives of three persons on Friday, ten others were seriously injured. Reports claim that the first accident occurred at Sona Breweries in Ijoko area of Sango Ota at about 7.20am. Three people were burnt beyond recognition and three others were seriously injured. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps Unit Commander in Sango Ota, Richard Olutiriko, the driver of a Volkswagen bus with registration number: LAGOS XM 587 EKY was speeding beyond the lawful limit. “The Abeokuta-bound bus rammed into the road divider in front of Sona Breweries and somersaulted three times before it started burning.” |
