The arabic teacher constantly flogged us for not wearing our "hula" - caps - and the ladies for not wearing headties. They started it. The flogging was out of this world - laced with anger, hatred and animosity. I used to dread going to school any day we had arabic on our time-table. Can you imagine muslim students forced to study the bible?
