I have noticed it for long that most jobs on hotnigerianjobs were copied by jobberman. They would remove the name of the company and at times remodify.

There was a time i chatted wt Jobberman on twitter and told them is relatively unfair to copy other people's job post and demand a ransom from an unemployed person.

I told them if they insist on still collecting charges i wud stick to my better alternative hotnigerianjobs.

Seriously, It is quite obvious that Jobberman has erred on many fronts. I for one never saw any great benefit to their service that will warrant paying any fees.

Thank God for sites like HNJ offering the adverts free, may God continue to bless them. However we must tell ourselves some truths; Most Nigerians are used to getting things (in various spectres of life) for free, feeling that it is their right to get premium services at no cost - though this might seem be possible now but I doubt its sustainability in the long run. We need to move from the culture of 'free' to the culture of 'value', meaning that we should see the value a service/product presents and be willing to commit resources to acquire the service/product for our own benefit. We need to stop the apparent falsehood that jobless graduates do not have anything they can spare or sacrifice for their own good, afterall they still find ways to load their phones, buy snacks once in a while, etc

So back to jobberman, they simply failed to show the x-factor of their service to the majority and thus could not possibly demand fees for what is not seen to be valuable......

But why is this just coming out now? i thought i'd been the only chap that wasn't cool with the whole Robberman exploitation. It's very unfair on Job seekers, unfair on Hotnigerianjobs, and so not cool on the society at large. Especially when times are hard like this, the least they could do is not make it harder on the frustrated unemployed population.

Useless Jobberman

Na wa o... Those folks 're entrepreneurs in their 20's though I may be wrong, they deserve some credit. They scanned d environment to look for opportunities and took the advantage.
It really shows the height of Unemployment in the land, leading to frustration.
They were once unemployed like you and me, so they put on there thinking cap.

What I noticed is that they 've all the needed support of endorsement, investors and links which gave them an edge over their competitors. That is not to say they 're better.
I smelt a propaganda and conspiracy here on the part of there competitors trying to pull 'em down, which is healthy for business.

Before you start thinking I work for 'em or a conflict of interest.
Since those jobs 're for the public I can never pay a dime. Even if you have all the best CV or Resume and skills/ Experience in the world the success rate can never be 100%, so why pay. Just my own philosophy sha.

Possibly, Jobberman noticed reduction in their number of payed customers. So they deem it fit to redeem there dwindling image especially on nairaland.

Finally, before you ask what am even talking 'bout. If you're down with their service toss 'em else be on the run for alternatives which is not far fetched.
As for me am not a paid customer of Jobberman,I felt they 're over hyped. Thanks to their ads here and there.
Haba! Others 're free opt for them. Even this Nairaland Job section delivers better than any crap cos of the presence of some insider in here (Top CIA secret).

I think what is important is that most job seekers get the job. After all, most of these jobs are also available online for free. That is what we care about at Myjobmaghttps://www.myjobmag.com
