wesley80: I agree. God's face must be sought if Nigeria's problems especially the Boko Haram issue must be resolved. There's a national precedence, It happened in Warri, the peace being enjoyed in Warri today was brought about by "Men on their knees". Prayers were made without ceasing city wide in organized monthly and weekly fasting and prayer sessions organized by CAN and PFN and when it looked like Warri was irredemable, there was a breakthrough. The JTF and your local intelligence can only do so much but the real causes behind the crisis are "Spiritual" and can only be battled likewise.
I dont expect anyone to agree, but that's your problem. Jonathan is wise to seek the face of God even when he know's ignoramuses will think he's being stupid and that's exactly why he's going to succeed and be a succesful President mistakes or no mistakes - I have no single doubt! The good book says:

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty
1 Corinth 1:27

Jonathan is wise and is going to succed because he's gonna have the backing of the Oga at the top! You heard it here first.
I totally agree with you.The reason we ended up with this retardeen GEJ is to serve as punishment for our misdeeds as nigerians and the gods with the support of the witches and wizards tht neva seize to live amongst us saw GEJ as the most suitable candidate to punish us and PDP to bedevil us.

I ♓ανε always believed that spiritual solutions should be sought after all physical solutions have been exhausted. If the churches and mosque pray 25hours a day, unemployment will not be ameliorated, worst case is some will lose their job only for others to take it. Only industrialisation can boost unemployment not prayers. To be fair with jonathan he doesn't really do much talking, but the little time he talks he reveals his intellectual emptiness...Oga jonathan, even the fools and clueness ones that voted you in know they made a serious mistake so jst shut up and do the little your frail brain can muster.

Once a scumbag, forever a scumbag.

I remember one of his foolish serving ministers telling us that it was witches who are not allowing Nigerians to enjoy stable power supply.

Jonathan has no limit to his idiocy. EVIL FORCES - you say huh? Well you are that EVIL FORCE - scumbag president.

And if there is any leader who has consistently manipulated the religious space to derive political gains, it is President Goodluck Jonathan. Many of the dramas about his Presidency have occurred in a church. When his wife, Patience, unwittingly confessed what she had been up to in Germany as regards her health, she did so in a church. Recently, when Jonathan himself was giving a speech about electricity supply and power cut, it was in a church. You wonder why he had to talk about his agenda in a church at all. Why not simply worship and go home? Again, when he and his ex-godfather, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, had to stage their reconciliation, the church was a veritable platform. At least twice now, Jonathan has gone to a prominent Pentecostal church located on the ever-busy Lagos–Ibadan Expressway to kneel before its General Overseer and beg for prayers. The first time, it was shortly before the 2011 elections and the image it produced turned out to be an iconic one; it shows in a simple but powerful manner, the dynamics of the politics of religion in Nigeria. When Jonathan gave his famous I-am-not-a-lion-not-a-Nebuchadnezzar-not-the-Pharaoh-of-Egypt-and-I-cannot-figure-out-I-am-supposed-to-be speech, it was still in a church. It was also in a church that he announced he was not the best but God chose him. When he spoke about fighting corruption, his efforts second only to the US, and which threw people into laughing fits, it was still in a church!!

As if those were not enough, he recently presided over a fundraiser that got a whopping N6bn for his hometown church. One would think that with all the hoopla generated when an Italian construction firm donated a church to his village, he would go easy on his churchy activities. In a country where there are no basic educational facilities, where schools are worse than pig stys, the best he and his coterie of friends could do is to build one more church. At least, Obasanjo, with all his “defects”, raised funds for a library. And to top it all, this week, the President travelled to Enugu to inaugurate, not a specialist hospital or cancer research centre, but a church built by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

It is high time somebody told the President he is overdoing things. We know he must be seen believing in something, regardless of how antithetical this is to his stance on issues such as corruption but as the President of a country that recognises no religion, he needs to deemphasise his religiosity. When he goes to church, he should limit his engagements to worship and when he comes out, he can resume talking about his policies. And politics too.

The evil forces are real. Exception is for those who live in fools' paradise.
The questions are: How many of himself (gej) has he released unto them?
Evil forces are not destroyed by acknowledging or disproving their existence or operations.
Run away from sin as the president. How can you submit your will to satan through sin and expect to stop evil forces with mere Bible quotation? Nobody wins evil with another evil. This God is too holy for this frivolities and stupidity being practiced by this majority
-FOCUS ON GOOD GOVERNANCE
-AVOID AND PUNISH PROSECUTE CORRUPTION
-SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THOSE WHO WANT TO WORK AND NOT THOSE WHO HAVE COME TO CHOP
BELIEVE IN FREE & FAIR ELECTION (not underground and unconventional strategies to unduly undermine your opposition)
-BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED ANYHOW
-DE DO NOT BELIEVE OR ENGAGE IN DO OR DIE APPROACH. (power actually belong to the electorate and not the expired and corrupt politicians. Satisfy them and leave the rest to God. You dont even have to win. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS WHAT THE PEOPLE WOULD COME TO REALISE ABOUT YOUR GOODNESS AFTER YOUR EXIT. Remember what the people of the following are saying; Mandela, Awolowo, Sardauna, Nkruma of Ghana long after they have left the scene)
-BELIEVE IN GOD AND COMMIT THE EXTRANEOUS INTO HIS HAND.

The 'evil forces' u should be worry about, are those ur clueless ministers and advisers and ur unwilling, slowness and lack of will power to fight these glaring ills plaguing this nation, like corruption, nepotism, police and army brutality, insecurity, boko haram. This goodluck of a thing should not even think of coming back 2015 because if he cannot do anything now then when will he? The Yoruba's will say....if you spend 10years in preparing for madness, please how many years you wan take mad?

Nigerian and their leader's don't fear God.Why seeking the face of whom you don't belive in. 99% of Nigerian worships either in the church on sundays or pray in the mosque on fridays but still meet at various secret cult fora to decide the fate of the nation.Let all the executives,Legislators,Judiciaries, church ministers denunce publicly their memberships from the cult they belong there and then they can truely seek the face of the Almighty God.

Is it the same evil forces that make GEJ spend over one million naira per meal? Is it also the same evil forces that made Patience first lady in Abuja and at the same time permanent secretary in Bayelsa (even the devil's right hand man Abacha didn't do that)? Is it the same evil forces that is using about 4 billion naira to rehabilitate Abuja protitutes, about 4 billion naira to build African first ladies mission house, about 6 billion naira to build 2 gates in Abuja? Is it the same evil forces that make our first lady and permanent secretary to spend about 3/4 of the year in German hospitals instead of her offices in Bayelsa and Abuja?
