Seems GEJ has realised that the south west is the gun powder keg of nigeria just like the balkan peninsula was to Europe. That is why he feels he needs pacifying them. No matter how good human being is, there isn't anyway he can satisfy people of diverse culture, religion and mentality to life. I trust my people, bribing them will never make them to lose their focus or get them disorganised at all. He is only concerned with doing whatever will get him 4 more years to have the largesse he could never have dreamed of were Nigeria to be a nation where merit, ability and institutional uprightness rules. This ultra-simple man, placed far above his station, is fighting for mundane things that demonstrates his mental limitations such as the total freedom, making him an unaccountable authority, to fly his wife and associate abroad whenever necessary with no expense spared. He is childishly enjoying the power to pardon criminals and play god when the most successful nations of the world are built on the solid principles that a society without robust punishment for wrongdoing is a society directly inviting anarchy upon itself. GEJ has never been about even a single revolutionary idea let alone the multitudes of idea and inspired thinking prepared and deserving leaders, worldwide, always arrive with. The right Nigerian leader would be one who cries and acts when even one Nigerian dies and not an opportunists who is comfortable ignoring death and mayhem everywhere while opportunistically scheming to do whatever it takes to perpetuate himself in power. I don't know who is dafter between Jonathan & his advisers. So because he has bribed Fasehun & Jimi Agbaje now, all of the SW would rush & vote for him in 2015? Somebody tell him we know the right thing in the SW & we're not like the blind primitives in his SS who keep voting for PDP even though they live in penury while surrounded by their God-given black gold. I wonder who the advisers of our wonderful president are. Who is Jimmy Agbaje in SW politics? Sincerely, I read that name first on this forum. The man that seems to be the strongest man in the ruling party then(obj) wasn't able to deliver his zone to his daughter, she lost to an ordinary candidate who has never had any outstanding record in politics. Which makes me wonder how the appointment of the likes of Agbaje or Akinyemi as minister results to the break of ACN stronghold in the Southwest. As at now if any of those nominees contest in their respective senatorial districts, the possibility of them all loosing woefully to any candidate the dominant party in the SW nominate is very high. This guy jonathan shouldn't because of his desperate mind commit massive political blunder. Creating inessential ministries all in the name of pleasing the people that no matter how much you pretend to satisfy them their politically matured mind won't make them fall a bit for his deceit. |

If one is to understand the psyche of a politician as one blinded by' self' interest who doesnt care bout the masses and only see them as a means to an end you cant but give credit to Gej who understands this and willing to ball. If a man as Tinubu who i respect for his dogdness and understanding of Nigerian politics can cut deals with oppositions...... Then the masses should be wary of how they trust em politicians. |

If this arrangement is true and ACN ignore this fact, thats the end of ACN in Lagos. Jimi Agbaje is a genue man with quality and charisma to outsmart Fashola paformance. But i wiould have love him to come out under new party, APC precisely. |
