Since t=d/s
Therefore, S=ut+(1/2)a(d^2/s^2)
S=ut+ad^2/2s^2
t=(S-ad^2/2s^2)/u

SIMPLE!

Set the equation equal to 0 and solve for t. This gives:

½at² + ut - S = 0

Comparing this to a_1*t² + bt + c = 0 form, we have

a_1 = ½a, b = u, c = -S
