#1 naira missing
Imagine u saw a shirt worth #97, since you don’t have the money you now decided to borrow #50 from Mum and another #50 from Dad so u now have #100. Since the shirt is #97 you now have #3 left. Now u returned #1 to Mum and #1 to Dad and you where left with #1 for yourself.
Now you owe Mum #49 and Dad #49 so  49 + 49 =   #98 +#1  with you    = #99
 
Where is the missing #1?.......... I need answers urgently

$1 is not missing. Simply you can't add that $1 to the amount given by your mom and dad. you have to subtract.
Lets put it this way.

You spent $97. Now you have $3. Total you had = $100.
You gave your dad $1. and mom $1. that makes you have = $98 (father gave $49 + mother gave $49 => $98)
Remaining money with you = $1. Since you spent $97 earlier and now have $1 with you ($97+$1) = $98. Exactly what your parents gave you.
