All Clearing License and Importers name has been blocked by Nigerian Customs Services from their data. It's no longer a news that everybody transacting business in Nigerian Port must use Tax Identification Number TIN. Before, we use RC number for corporate and we use Driver License and International Passport number for individual. Now all these are no longer working, you must have a TIN and use your TIN to run things in Nigerian Port. As of now, all Clearing License and Importer's name has been suspended by Nigerian Customs Services. |

TIN has been in use in Port for a while. See no reason why any importer won't have it. |

Yes TIN is been in use for awhile but few people are making use of it. Nobody want to pay Tax that's why they don't use it but now it's a must. |
