According history, the great prophet in his life time was an advocate of women rights,he gave women legal right to marriage, divorce and inheritance rites, his wife was rich independent woman, how come his followers are doing otherwise?

Women are kind of relegated to the background as if they are objects.

redsun:

According history, the great prophet in his life time was an advocate of women rights,

Yes, Isl'am gave women rights and privileges at a time when only barbaric manners and values dominated.
Yet, some people argue that Islam has alienated women in some domains. In fact, this belief is a misconception. In fact, the rights and responsibilities of a woman are equal to those of a man but they are not necessarily identical. Since men and women are not created identical, they have different physical and emotional qualities, jobs and privileges. This does not mean that women are inferior.

redsun:

,he gave women legal right to marriage,

Isl'am gives a woman the right to marry who ever she loves and also the right to refuse polygamyny for her husband by setting it as a condition during the marriage procedures. If this condition is set, then the woman is granted divorce if her husband marries another while he is still married to her. I have also read stories wherein it is stated that women are forced to marry men without their consent. This in no way resembles the marriage system in Isl'am. In Isl'am the woman marries the man of her choice. She may even marry someone that her mother and/or father objects to.

redsun:

,he gave women legal right to ,divorce

"The most detestable of all lawful things in the sight of Allaah is divorce.
In Isl'am, the woman is not neglected after the divorce. Indeed husbands are instructed to provide housing to the divorced wife until her waiting period is completed, as in the saying of Allaah

redsun:

,how come his followers are doing otherwise?

In most case people tend to mix culture and religion.
Re: The Legacy Of A Prophet by redsun(m): 11:25am On Apr 06, 2008
The Great Prophet was a model character,he was both a spiritualist and a tested admistrator at a time when the arab and the rest of world was in total chaos, world of injustice and oppression, just like today, his message gave the weak hope, the fight was against those who detest justice,he was not necessarily the agressor but the defender.
Re: The Legacy Of A Prophet by redsun(m): 3:44pm On Apr 06, 2008
The Great Prophet true explanation of jihad does not necessarily mean war and violence but struggle against human frailty, struggle against self- destruction, against injustice for all ,struggle to be good to others and of course struggle against aggressors, which is a fundamental human trait.

I wonder who the real evil of today is?Do we really need to fight?i think it shoud be more of mind game than fighting, knowledge, people should put themselves in the positions of men like christ, the great prophet, elevate to solve problems of your time.

She may even marry someone that her mother and/or father objects to.

Why honour killling, then
Re: The Legacy Of A Prophet by olabowale(m): 4:59pm On Apr 06, 2008
@Witness: Honor killing is not Islamic. Unfortunately, most of these people, in the cultures where honor killing is practiced, do not even have honor themselves! It is a cultural thing and its not part of Islam. But am sure the enemies of Islam are many and will provide their own views which will allow them to tie the prophet and Islam to their propagandist uproar.

The question is this, why is honor killing not practiced in Yorubaland, among the Muslims or most subsahara cultures?

Those who practice honor Killing are deficient in honors themselves. Otherwise, how was it that under their nose their women folks and their men folks are engaged in illicit sex?

Sex should be discussed, freely at home. Educating the youngs about the evilness of illicity of it. Encouraging people to abstain and wait till marriage and the mutual respect and blessings and enjoyments of it.

Olabowale , thank you, for the clear and concise answer.
Re: The Legacy Of A Prophet by Witness(m): 5:33pm On Apr 06, 2008
Now please kindly apply that same straightforwardness to the following questions:

1. How sperm comes from the Spinal cord according to the Q'u.r.a.n,
2. How Mohammmed split the moon (pls don't use the earlier nonsense pictures that you sent),
3. How the Sun sets in the murky spring,
4. Where the injil is located,
5. Why mohammmed is not a peadophile by sleeping with a 9 year old girl,
6. How did Sabri die, and who killed him,
7. How did Khalil die and who killed him,
8. Why did Mohammmed say Abu should also sleep with his wife Aisha, who was Abu's daughter,
9. Why did Aisha's mother die a lonely and miserable death,
10. How you can marry more than one wife and still love them equally in all things, accoring to your Q'u.r.a.n (pls don't give hypothetical answer pls).
11. Why did Mohammmed say his followers would win against Mecca , yet he refused to join them in the battle and then , which they lost! and were slaugthered!
12. How come Alllah could not save his prophet from dying from the effects of Poison , even though God (God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob) saved Elisha and Paul from being killed by poison.
Re: The Legacy Of A Prophet by redsun(m): 6:49pm On Apr 06, 2008
The issue of polygamy according to early story can be seen as compassion shown to the widows of killed early moslem converts in wars against the opposing meccans, not necessarily of lust, taking care of them equally, but then human nature as always, sets in.

I am seeing the great prophet in the eyes of history not as a religious person,i still haven't reach the point of understanding how the twist of things like stoning of women came about, cutting of hands of minor offenders etc.

I think it is just a sleek political, spiritual and moral built up that continues till this day, same issue, same good and evil, diffrent times and players

Why must you lie because you want to prove a point that is untrue? Where did you hear the prophet lying with a 9 year old!Where have you heard of the prophet turning his back in battle?Where have you heard Mu'hammed the number 1 most influencial man ever in the world(Check the list of the most influencial in the book"100 most Influencial" written by a christain) drink poison to test faith?eh!
You wont believe anything concerning the truth.Where did you hear Abu(a close friend to the prophet)laid with his own daughter?Even when we showed you pictures of the moon split, you insisted that we show you the whole moon(entire diameter) which no camera/telescope can cover-you even said that picture ought to show Muhamm'ed splitting it grin grin.Astagafru.
How do you expect us showing Mu'hammed which any of us never saw face to face spilt the moon shocked. Who told you Paul shallowed a poison and chested it?! grin grin grin.
Can Pastor Adeboye drink poison and remain alive! Please talk rationally
Ah!Witness/sysuser/sysuserx/what more!!

The only question I will answer is the Injil. Because that sounds sensible. The injil that you call the Gospel was to Jesus Christ only. He had the scripture on his head and it was never written on paper. shocked

Here we go again, first of it would really be unfortunate if Olabowale fails to answer those questions , it would only show that he's running and turning tail when confronted with the lies of Mohammed.

Why must you lie because you want to prove a point that is untrue?

1. Prove that its not true , and stop your pitifuly verbal rhetoric and gusto,
2. When you prove that its not true, then you can say that its a lie , until then keep your peace and your dogmas and just focus on proofing that its not true, (which you cannot)

Where did you hear the prophet lieing with a 9 year old!

1. How old was Aisha when Mohammmed slept with her,
2. How did Mohammed get to obtain the hand of Aisha,
3. Did Abu not sleep with His own daughter or not, according to another so called prophecy of Mohammmed

Where have you heard of the prophet turning his back in battle?

1. Prove that he did not (with referencable information)

Where have you heard Mu'hammed the number 1 most influencial man ever in the world(Check the list of the most influencial in the book"100 most Influencial" written by a christain)

1. In fact you migth even call him the best thing since slice bread for all i care, yet still it does not excuse his false prophethood and character deficiencies.
a. Hitler was likewise praised by a section of his peopel.
b. Stalin was also praised by certain people
c. Putin was likewised praised by Time magazine,

So what is your point,

drink poison to test faith?eh!
You wont believe anything concerning the truth.

1. I did not tell you he himself poisoned himself, He was poisoned by a Woman whom Mohammed had killed members of her family, The poison immediately killed his friend but slowly killed him instead.

2. The point i am making is that the fact that mohammmed is a false prophet is made evident by the fact that Alllah (a false god) could not save Mohammmed from being killed by poison put into his food by a woman, yet the True God (God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) easily and effortlessly saved both Elisha and Paul (True men of God) from being killed by Poison.

Even when we showed you pictures of the moon split, you insisted that we show you the whole moon(entire diameter) which no camera/telescope can cover-you even said that picture ought to show Muhamm'ed splitting it

1. One you probably know little or nothing about Physics or Science hence your uninformed statements about the moon and telescopes.

2. I don't need you to show me the picture of Mohammmed splitting the moon , I just need you to show me the evidence showing that the moon has a scar (fault or anything ) at the place where Mohammmed had split the moon. The picture showed just a litte part of the moon, yet you are still unable to produce a complete picture of the moon indicating diametrical split of the moon, now tell me who's the liar.

3. I have already answered you on why the pictures you presented are completely irrelevant to whether or not mohammmed split the moon. When i refuted the picutres that were presented, none of you was probably bold enough to continue responding to my questions , even olabowale has since tried to avoid that questions as a result of obvious lack of evidence. So please stop feigning ignorance as if those your so called pictures have not been ridiculed and shown to be false.

4. If mohammmed split the moon then current technologies should easily be able to get a full picture of the moon, so there is no need for yuo to cry foul, just produce the pictures.

The only question I will answer is the Injil. Because that sounds sensible. The injil that you call the Gospel was to Jesus Christ only. He had the scripture on his head and it was never written on paper.

Men, you people are real an enigma, this certainly another new found excuse. , haha, how are you able to quickly think up all these excuses for Mohammmed one after the other.

One time a person said the Injil cannot be produced because it was lost, now you are saying it cannot be produced because it was in Jesus Christ head, and not on paper.

Men which of your lies do you want us to take as your statement exactly, cus you are really starting to sound blatantly contradictory.

By the way assuming that the Injil was in Jesus Christ's head:

1. How did Mohammmed know that since he was not yet born
2. How are you now able to use it to crosscheck the parts of the bible that have contradictions, considering that you don't have a hardcopy of the Injil to know where the bible is wrong.
3. So does it now mean that the Injil is lost because you people said it is lost or does it now mean that we should believe that it is in Jesus Christ head,

grin grin cheesy cheesy :Dhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, na wa o , !!!!haha, This your new lie is certainly another classic one!! grin grin grin grin

Who told you Paul shallowed a poison and chested it?! .

Here you go:

About Paul:

First of all , let me correct that the bible did not say that the Paul swallowed poison or was bitten by the snake , all the bible said was that Paul had an encounter with a poisonous snake , yet nothing happened to him.

A poisonous snake wrapped itself around Paul's arm, until he shook it off into the fire yet nothing happened to him , he was neither sick nor weak, as a matter of fact the only way he was killed was because the Romans killed him. Even those people who saw the snake calling him a god , because they could not understand why he had not been affected .Hence God saved Paul from death by poison from a snake.

Act 28:3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
Act 28:4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
Act 28:5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
Act 28:6 Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

About Elisha

Elisha and a few people was about to be poisoned through food, yet God through the food revealed to Elisha that he was about to be poisoned, Hence God saved Elisha from death by poison.

2Ki 4:38 And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.
2Ki 4:39 And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.
2Ki 4:40 So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof.
2Ki 4:41 But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot.

Now compare this to how Mohammmed was so gluttonous that he didn't even know there was poison in his food until his friend had already eaten and become doom to death , yet even his friend who died knew there was poison in his food, He died a few years later due to the effect of the poison. Part of the reason Mohammed did not die immediately was because he had not eaten a lot of the food compared to his friend.

So Frizy , Olabowale or whoever , I AM WAITING FOR YOUR NEW EXCUSES, since its obvious you are good are creating them for Alllah and Mohammmed

Re: The Legacy Of A Prophet by Witness(m): 10:00pm On Apr 06, 2008
So once again please provide a coherent and logic exegsis of why the you think or believe that the following is not true:

Now please kindly apply that same straightforwardness to the following questions:

1. How sperm comes from the Spinal cord according to the Q'u.r.a.n,

2. There is no evidence on the moon showing that Mohammmed actually split the moon.

3. How the Sun sets in the murky spring,

4. Where the injil is located (please note that one m.u.s.l.i.m has already said it is lost ,while another m.u.s.l.i.m said it is in Jesus's head and was not written down)

5. Why mohammmed is not a peadophile by sleeping with a 9 year old girl Aisha.

6. How did Sabri die, and who killed him

7. How did Khalil die and who killed him

8. Why did Mohammmed say Abu should also sleep with his wife Aisha (Abu's daughter)

9. Why did Aisha's mother die a lonely and miserable death,

10. How you can marry more than one wife and still love them equally in all things, accoring to your Q'u.r.a.n (please don't give hypothetical answer please).

11. Why did Mohammmed say his followers would win against Mecca, yet they completely lost. In fact he refused to join them in the battle in which they wered thorougly defeated by the Meccans, before he (Mohammmed) and others now fled to Medina, !

12. How come Alllah could not save his own prophet from death due to effects of Poison , yet the True God (God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob) actually saved Elisha and Paul from being killed by poison.
Note that Mohammmed died at age of 63 after illness caused by poisoining,

--------------------------

mukina2 you don come again (as one of your m.u.s.l.i.m bodies reported me again or something), why must you always be the one to bail out i.s.l.a.m whenever it is under attack by the Truth.

By the way the topic says "Legacy of a Prophet", I am making posts which shows that the so called great false prophet (Mohammmed) does not have good legacy but rather an evil legacy,

As a matter of fact I have raise a few points as to why i believe so. , It is also clear to see that the points i am raising are in agreement with the topic of the thread simply becuase they are show why I believe that Mohammmed does not have good legacy (but rather he has an evil legacy)

So please don't try to now remove or delete the thread or ban me. My posts are perfectly within the confines of the topic of thread,

Although i would not really be suprised if you still went ahead to either ban me or delete my posts or delete the therad because of the active discussion going on about Mohammmed.
Going ahead to remove or delete the thread or posts on the flimsy excuse of not sticking to the topic (even though its obvious that's not true) would amount misuse of powers for personal prejudices.

@Witness:
Now please kindly apply that same straightforwardness to the following questions:
Brother Frizy, who is better bleesed in beneficial knowledge than me by the Owner of the Throne Supreme , has responded to you. I guess you will not be satisfied, until you see in your own perspective, as the victor over the entire Muuuuuslim world. Typical hard heart you have. If you are not just drumming my name in this, the typical gangan drum I am very familiar with in Ibadan that you are using deserves a reply, because you will not stop. I know your kind in Ibadan (Eni sho nbe, n ma o nbe! lol)

1. How sperm comes from the Spinal cord according to the Q'u.r.a.n,
Did the Qur''an mention "Spinal cord?" Whatever Qur""an mentions, there will be a discovery of it as thruth, if only the world advances in knowledge more than just the present level of today. Hang around for couple of thousand years or even alot less. Will you? Just say it in the name of Jesus okay? Then you will still be available when the discovery is made. You darn liar. You believe in the name of Jesus everything is possible, so delay your death for many thousand years, rather to the end of time to see whether Qur""an is truthful or not!

2. How Mohammmed split the moon (please don't use the earlier nonsense pictures that you sent),
Why don't you petition NASA in a questioning letter? Afterall they are the ones who first had humans on it. Or pose the question to the Russian, Chiness or European union space programs? You may find out the truth and even that can your heart accept it? Will that turn you away from the madness of three personalities god? Or son god? Or holy ghost god? Or father god?

3. How the Sun sets in the murky spring,
Please go to the bank of a large body of water and await the setting of the sun, in the evenning. Report to us your observation. What you fail to see is that when the sun is setting, there is darkness over the water, because the light is almost gone and whatever you see looks murky! Afterall water refracts light in the first place! You complain too much. Yet there is no clear rational in your complaining process. Ask any physics departments of the many universities in Nigeria. Or again pose the question to the knowledgeable people or organization: royal academy of science in England or others around the world, if you are stupidly not accepting the finding of igerian scientists.

Afterall sun does not truly rise or set. But what you see with your eyes without the other scientific relations of earth and sun to each other is just that: Rising and setting! I am just trying to get you not to think only within a narrow scope, inside the box. Get out of Ibadan, which has no water, except the guttery Ogunpa. Go see some big water bodies; hang around there until you see the setting of the sun and begin to observe the water: will it still be clear or murky? Take a picture, a video or a cinema of it. etter if you can't affort the time, go check out a postcard of any sunset effect on a water body: the water is clear that you can see the bottom or murky?

4. Where the injil is located,
You should have asked your big pastors in Nigeria or your Oyinbo masters in Christendom, where did they get the many injils that you have today? Where is the original that they wrote all of these from? They must have copied it, or what did they do? I hope that you will be brave enough to ask them if they copy verbatim, precisely, word for word from the original. Then ask them the hard question, why the differences in all of the Injils, since Jesus left, and why there are no two exactly alike? Even when KJV copied from Douwey, you still have the gull to accuse Douwey and the Catholic sects of Christianity as not being Christians? Shame on you. You hve no scrubble. I wonder what really your mental age. You are really "Ole ti njare oniun!"

5. Why mohammmed is not a peadophile by sleeping with a 9 year old girl, [/quote} And if it was not for the blessing and commandment of God through Muha mmad (as) that somebody like me obey in sexual protocol, many of us would have had no limitation in sexual activities and interests. How then do you thing a mere follower will have a better morality than the leader whose action is the best of yardstick? And finally, could you tell be if Aisha was born before her father became a mus lim and how old was she when her father became a mus lim? Then you will see that your answer as listed above is foolishness! If you want us to discuss this further, please answer these question of her birth and her father acceptance of Is lam! This way I can take you to school and give you education.

6. How did Sabri die, and who killed him,
7. How did Khalil die and who killed him,
Tell me about these people? Who are they? If Muha mmad was just a killing machine as you people are painting him, could it be possible that a single nonmus lim remained in Arabia during his lifetime? Could it be possible that when Umar opened Jerusalem, he would have allowed a single nonmus lim to remain, considering that he would have behaved like his prophet? Considering that the Jews. okay in the early days the Children of Israel overran everywhere the went and killed even the livestocks, do you think any Arab, Jew would have remained as nonmus lim? You are talking nonsense, thats what you are doing!

8. Why did Mohammmed say Abu should also sleep with his wife Aisha, who was Abu's daughter,
9. Why did Aisha's mother die a lonely and miserable death,
You really are showing traces of sickness. Even in your Ibadan, the Aboderin whose family praises is all about sex and more sex do not sleep with their family members. And for your mad mind to be unable to discriminate between truth and pure evilness of the websites where you make your research is an edictment on your ability to act as a man. No wonder Allah the Lord of things declares that the disbelivers are even worse than cattles. See yur level of reasoning?

10. How you can marry more than one wife and still love them equally in all things, accoring to your Q'u.r.a.n (please don't give hypothetical answer please).
Equality does not have to be the same, since one person is not the clone of the other. Everyone is loved 100% in the value she has. She is satisfied in her own way, in her own mind. Afterall, parents have more than one offspring, yet they love each child fully. How? Please the case of Issac and his wife with their children is tje anormally. I hope no mother is that vile if the story is true! It is full of lies and one wonder what is true from the book that has it on it pages.

Let me amuse myself at your expense since you are stopping me to attend to you before I start my full day ahead: let me drag your gods to human level for illustration; how can you have 3 godhad personality, whereby each one is fully singly god at the same, independent of the other? I want to laugh. But I am a bashful man, so I truly can't.

11. Why did Mohammmed say his followers would win against Mecca , yet he refused to join them in the battle and then , which they lost! and were slaugthered!
You are truly a mad man. You need to go to Olunloyo! I wonder who is feeding you these garbage. Which Makka? Are there other Makkas than the only one that only Mus lims can enter it? Was the victory of it not predicted in the Qu ran? Was the bloodless, fightless, battleless war against it led by Mu hammmad himself? Was he not the one who tumbled down and commanded his companions to throw down all of the 360 idols from the Kaaba? Orisi risi ni o wa nibadan. By the way we have family homes in Ibadan. So I am as an Ijebu man, I am a psuedo Ibadan boy.

12. How come Alllah could not save his prophet from dying from the effects of Poison , even though God (God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob) saved Elisha and Paul from being killed by poison.
How long should a person injest what is poisonous and remain alive before he died so that his death would not be ascribed to the poison? A year, two, or what? What if a person injest a poison and was not immediately sick from it? What if the poisonous thing told the person that it is a poison?

The case of Mu hammad is that the poison from the poisonous meat did not make him sick and did not kill him as you would expect any poison injested. Mu hammad case is the case whereby his Lord made him a leader of all things: As the best who lived and died for the cause of God! I don't wanna dwell on the matter too much. You are too mundane to me.

@Witness
If you're saying that picture showing the moon from the earth with cracks on its entire diameter(the second picture from the deleted thread) is not good enough. O boy, then try and make a personal resquest to NASA to retake the picture for you or travel and see for yourself. I watched a program some years ago, people can now travel outside the earth for space exploration. I think it was about $25,000 with a 6 month preparatory test.(if you're fit to go or not).
If Mohamm'ed and All'ah words deludes you that much, then even when you get there you will say"Ah!this is not true,my eyes are failing me!Am now an old man" grin grin

When I looked at your jaundiced responses, I convulsed in laughter. That is typical of the people of the great religion who leave simple questions and start chasing shadows and dribbling like Okocha. Witness asked some questions, provide answers period.

It's not that I can't provide answers BUT will it change anything? As far as I know witness, he will continue to deny the truth and we'll have prolonged arguments that will cancel the thread.

To ignore the facts does not change the facts.
I intentionally add your motto to your respnse. I want to cream you with it. First, which is fact Jesus' or Paul's? If ignoring the fact does not change the fact, how come you can be siding with Witness, who could have easily posed the question of moon split to the NASA people or any relative agency for answer?

If the Quraishi people of the prophet time did not deny that they saw two halves of the moon, but only felt that they were under the spell of magic, how come a group of later generations (eg Witness and you, etc), are having a hard time with it?

The miracle was not meant for you, but for the people on ground when it did happened. Let just say for the sake of argument that no one had gone to the moon and saw it, first hand or even pictures of it, etc, would this have nollified the miracle as a sign specifically meant for the Quraishis? Yet you guys believed the 3 days and 3 nights sign of Jesus, a similitude of Jonah in the belly of the whale. But please calculate 3 nights and 3 days from sundown or just about on Friday to just sunrise of just about of the following Sunday, for me. I wanna see your hoodini flimflam, right now!

If you believe something that could not be calculated as accurate, considering the 3 days and 3 nights is at least some daylight time short with at least one night time short, how come do you doubt the moon split?

Fortunately, the NASA agency and its astronauts and other worldwide agencies were not mus/lims. The humans who have seen the moon were not mus/lims. Thank God that they reported their findings. Just imagine if they were mus/lims, people like would have given all kinda opinions why you would not believe what the astronauts saw!
And 200 years ago no one would have believed that it was possible to travel to the space, moon, etc via a space machines and back. But the NASA agency is now planning to go to Mars. But in the AlQur'an, we read that God say that human should penetrate the space, if they can, because they can not of their own, except what He permits them of it (the knowledge). Thank God that humans are doing that, today. But do you have any verse in the Bible that could indicate the possibility that humans will be able to travel to the space?

But all the efforts of man will be within but before the first heaven, regardless of much we try! Finally do you have a proof that Muha//mmad did not make the moon appeared as 2 broken parts to the Quraishis? Do you have an absolute proof that the moon was not splitted? And was the moon the objesct that Muha/mmad splitted? Why not the sun, or the stars or something from among other heavenly bodies? Afterall you will see that the Qu//r'an spoke about the solar system, in many places and in Surah Yusuf, it is obvious. The truth of the matter is that it happened and when discovered by the enemies of All/ah, and His Messenger and believers, the enemies have problems with it.

@olabowale

FYI all Jesus miracles are narrative. The question is: How did MO split the moon? And if he did split the moon, are the two parts shown so that we can be sure that they make up a complete moon. You can't use your teeth to share meat and tell us that you shared it equally without showing us the bit in your mouth.

When it has to do with Christ and Xtianity muslims will seek evidence for the least bit but they are unwilling to expansiate on serious ones like this one.

Salaam!

I am convinced we should stick to the topic at hand,
i have been following this section for a long time and i believe troublemakers should be ignored.

The Great Prophet did have a great respect for women but i don't understand some things  he did
Insha A llah, in time i will.

It reminds of some years back when my mother arranged a girl for me to marry, when we were alone once
she told me she did not like me enough, i told her it was fine, i didnt like her enough too. we decided to date a bit
if anything would come out of it. nothing did.

i have constantly reminded myself that i would only marry one wife, even though my mum is the last wife out of three
i have never seen the need. i respect women too much. One woman is ok for me.
Re: The Legacy Of A Prophet by Nobody: 3:15am On Apr 15, 2008
did a great thing for  women shocked shocked shocked
the same women he says were basically daft and brainless and majority end up in hell fire.
The same women he said were half as intelligent and ought to be beaten and scourged by their husbands.
The same women that are referred to as  tilths for male consumption
The same women he says you folks can have 4 at a time and yet he acquired more than 22 bedmates in his lifetime. shocked shocked shocked

You people should stop all these lies.
People can now read the ko'ran and hadiths online
all anyone needs to do is type in "moha'mmeds poor impression of women" on google and the hadiths and kor'anic quotations appear.
Re: The Legacy Of A Prophet by Nobody: 3:18am On Apr 15, 2008
According history, the great prophet in his life time was an advocate of women rights,he gave women legal right to marriage, divorce and inheritance rites, his wife was rich independent woman, how come his followers are doing otherwise?

Women are kind of relegated to the background as if they are objects.

you call a poor, and lliterate destitute errand boy who married his rich widowed boss an advocate for women?
He was a smooth operator and on opportunist.
He must have been Ijebu or Igbo grin

And again, who witnessed the splitting of the moon?
Re: The Legacy Of A Prophet by Frizy(m): 2:50pm On Apr 15, 2008
@nossycheek
The moon split was witnessed by the disbelievers of the time and also the Musl'ims. The good thing about The Great Religion is that everything was written and dated. The pagans asked the prophet to show them signs and God inspired him(Muhamm'ed) to show the moon split. It was not Moh'ammed that splitted the moon because he had no such power, rather it was God.
Now, when the disbelievers saw it, they turned in aversion saying that it was magic because they don't believe Moha'mmed's messengership. Anyone who denys Muhamm'ed as being a prophet or calling him names as Nwando did are disbelievers. What is the point of proving to you it was true when you're not ready to believe.
When we showed witness,4Him and all christians in the house the sign(picture)- no even one believed. Rather they ran on by posting controversial comments probably from sites that deny the evidence.
And God said: As for the disbelivers, whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is all one for them- they believe not! (baqarah)

There is no verse in the Qu'ran that is not right. And instead of you people to pray and know the gospel truth, you pursuit that which your own heart tells you. If you've studied the Kor'an, my constant question is - Can anybody even the knowledgeable Aristotles (philosphers) produce a similar copy?Claim it's from God- I have read the Grail Message by Abushin and it's all trash, incomprehensible jargons with many contradictions.

It is up for you to believe but it is only All'ah Himself that helps man know the truth. That you ascribe to your Lord, He opposes and reject with anger and He says it's belittleness of whom He is.

4 Him:

why isnt there no historical record of this great feat?

Surah Al Qamar verses 54:1-2
1. The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent in twain. 2. And they behold a portent they turn away and say: Prolonged illusion.

Prophet Moham’mad invited the people’s attention to this event only with this object in view and asked them to mark it and be a witness to it. But the disbelievers described it as a magical illusion add persisted in their denial. For this stubbornness, they have been reproach in this surah.

If you ask the photo of the splitting of the Moon that take place in Makkah, the Arabian people are not fun of DIGITAL CAMERA at that time 1400 years ago. If you provide at that time it’s possible we have achievement of the result have you been asking for.
We read about the Miracle of Moses the splitting of the Ocean in the Redsea do we need a photo of that? when they cross into ocean to go in the other place.
We read the Miracle of Jesus when he give lives again to the dead. Do we need what the supplication he used to bring lives again? If so what is the supplication we need today?
Do we need to present the evidence each miracle on this Twenty Century? That has been taken place before or just relates and recorded it for the sake of everybody in the future reference?.

Every prophet left LEGACY,only that the best of them all was by the Lord JESUS.
He said `MY PEACE I GAVE UNTO YOU NOT AS THE WORLD (others) GIVETH - I GO THE FATHER
TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU THEN, I WILL COME BACK TO TAKE AND BE WITH YOU FOR EVER`

FORGIVE AND YOU SHALL BE FORGIVEN- HE did not ask us to kill our fellow human beings
WHAT A LEGACY.HE gave us authority to take charge of the whole thing till his return.
